Cruz's 4 P.M. Announcement.

prbably to take attention away from trumps awesome policy speech today.

I dont like the fiorina choice. It brings up the 500k cruz superpac donated to her superpac again and the fact that one of the enquireer mistresses worked in fiorinas campaign.

another choice would not have all this baggage.

lyin ted is completely delusional. he has no shot at clinching the nom. Do you really think fiorina is going to fire up the base? I mean jesus christ.. some conservatives are just bat shit insane, the same reason they dont believe in global warming, they literally double and triple down thinking there is a way they can stump the trump.
 
Not a bad move. Cruz's biggest issue right now is staying in the news - he's at least ensured himself coverage for this news cycle.

He still has an outside shot of keeping Trump from magic # of delegates. That's his only goal right now.

nah. it's not gonna happen. yeah, it's possible in the sense that a meteor could fall on my head, but it's not going to happen. Trump is going to lock it up. He really doesn't even have to perform that well from this point forward. NJ and Indiana are winner take all and he's ahead 6-8 points in those states. In california he'd only need like 40% of the delegates, cruz isn't going to fucking come close in cali. lol. it's all over. the republicans have been stumped by the trump

It wont be Sanders, he already said as much and if nothing else he has integrity.

With Trump (populist) and Clinton (Liberal) we don't have a Conservative in this race so it would make sense.

Ted Cruz has announced he will make a MAJOR announcement at 4 P.M.

I have three ideas in order of likeliness of what he might announce....

1. He has chosen a VP, likely Carly Fiorina, in a last ditch desperate effort to shore up some new group of voters in the last grouping of states.

2. That the Governor of Indiana Mike Pence is going to endorse him. (which would not be a "major" announcement, but the campaign is using some showmanship to get people to pay attention.

or

3. Unlikely, that he is giving up on the Republican nomination and launching a Conservative effort at a Third Party run.



Any more ideas?
