3 kids survive slaying of 8 family members in Ohio

Why do these threads always end up with people whining about the second amendment?

Someone can plow their car into a crow and kill a dozen people and those same people wouldn't say a thing.

Don't you have a bridge to crawl back under?

You block me from your thread but feel the need to troll mine.

Lol.

Nobody has whined about the Second Amendment in this thread. You claim that "someone can plow their car into a crow and kill a dozen people and those same people wouldn't say a thing".

Non sequitur.

You certainly did in your thread and this thread is about the same thing. Dumbass. Why don't you explain yourself hear so we can talk about, if you're not too scared.

Didn't you just chastise another member about spelling errors? lol.

I did? Link up. I'll understand if you can't.

Why the insult?

Lol, wut?

I chastise people about spelling errors all the time. Apparently you do, too, even if you have to change what I said to do it.

Other than you, to mock you, who have I chastised? I never changed anything you said to me. Those who resort to lies know that they have lost. lol, you edited your post after I captured it. Too bad Timid Troll.

You did and it is in your thread. You're too scared to mention it where I can respond.

Prove it.

Link up.

In the absence of any evidence to support your accusation, it is unfounded.

I forgive you.

Strangely you want me to prove something you yourself won't prove.

lol.

I captured your quote. The proof is right there. I bet you changed the other spelling error too. Must be very embarrassing for you.

Do you lose this bad all the time? No wonder you're afraid to allow me to post in your threads.

He didn't just edit his post like he did here, he deleted the entire post.

What a humiliating day for you. You have to edit your post after I capture it and the other one you simply deleted it.

lol

So you say.

Prove it. I'll understand if you can't.

I want you to know that I forgive you.

I ran a board for a short while and know that if you delete a post, someone with admin privileges can still see it. If someone who can see deleted posts says you deleted, what will you say then?

I am a veteran of the U.S Army, and I find the proliferation of guns in this country embarrassing. In the military, we were taught that firearms had one purpose and one purpose only: to kill.

Even trained professionals sometimes cannot be trusted with such weapons of death. In the 21st century, the military uses firearms to kill people in foreign countries defending their homes, and the police often use firearms to kill unarmed black teenagers.

Why the hell does anybody think that untrained, unvetted civilians with no valid reason to have a deadly weapon should be allowed to run amok with assault rifles and handguns that are more advanced than the ones we were issued in the army? The only possible result of such stupidity is massacres such as the one today in Ohio, and until the situation changes, there will be many, many more senseless killings and preventable deaths to come.

I'm a disabled Army veteran and I'm just fine with the fact that a sufficient number of people own weapons to defend against tyranny.

I never understand this line of reasoning.

An Ar15, with 30 rounds, is no match for a drone with heat seeking missiles, a M1 Abrams tank which eats RPG round for lunch, or the elite training that special operations forces undergo.

Obviously, you never got the chance to fire the .50 cal M2 heavy machine gun or the Mk 19 grenade launcher. That's just pure recreation.

I was thinking from the other end. What tyranny? I can see if I had a home out in the country I'd probably would want a gun for personal defense. Can't count on the cops when you live out in the hicks or a high crime neighborhood.

This tyranny argument doesn't hold a lot of water. What tyranny? Having to pay taxes when duly and legally represented is not tyranny. Even if you don't like your representative or voted for them. Likewise protecting minority rights is not tyranny. Neither is being required to submit to the rule of law tyranny as long as there is due process and individual rights are protected.

Point being, I haven't seen a lot of tyranny. Bad law and public policy sure but that's not tyranny.
