UnitedHealthcare to exit most Obamacare exchanges

The cynic in me wants to say they are complaining about lost profits. But yeah, Obamacare isn't what people had hoped for, didn't he say that the average family saving would be about $2,500 per year? With more people insured they have to cover a lot more, less profit. I won't go into the issues individuals have to deal with on this.

Luckily, as a disabled vet, I don't have to deal with that mess. The VA bureaucracy is a problem in a lot of regions but I am less than an hour from the Portland VA medical center which is literally next door to the Oregon Health Science University hospital, Doernbecher children's hospitol, Shriner's children's hospital, and a dozen specialty clinics. It's one big community of health care.

It shouldn't come as a huge surprise. UnitedHealth had previously said that it lost $475 million on the ACA exchanges last year and could lose another $500 million this year.

Universal healthcare? You mean good hardworking people that contribute to society being forced to fund it for freeloaders that do nothing but take from society?
