Should. Now we're getting there. I get that you feel badly for the schmucks in Flint but it is not supported by the constitution. They can fix this. They will have to use money they prefer to spend on other things and maybe raise taxes further. Actions have conseqiences. They elected crooks and got screwed. Consequences will insure that they learn a lesson.

You are mistaken, its okay, fortunately, there are many good people who don't agree with you and the people of Flint will have clean water to drink once, again.

I am relieved all citizens aren't as heartless as yourself.

Do you define "good" as agreeing with you on this situation? The PEOPLE of FLINT elected those that run their government. Let the PEOPLE of FLINT accept responsibility for those THEY elected.

This really isn't a "bleeding heart" thing. Not supporting a paltry investment from the Feds when the locals have failed, when lives are at stake and every day counts, is amazing to me. It's incredibly heartless, and not what America is about.

It really is a bleeding heart thing. I can prove it.

Sad how everything where you bleeding hearts want someone else to be forced to fund something for which they have no responsibility to do is considered an investment. I choose my own investments.

This isn't a natural disaster, simple correption.
We've had several natural disasters in Virginia and the government did nothing for me nor did I complain. It was pretty crap when they refused aid to Virginia because we had a republican governor a couple years ago.

It's not a disaster. It's just corruption. It's corruption that harms many if not all constituents but this was no accident, no unforseeable event.
So while the city/state right their wrong you don't drink the water. Sucks to be sure but perhaps they should wonder just how this came to pass.

Again, it's a paltry investment. Like I just asked CFN: did you support the Iraq War? It amazes me how you guys have no problem spending trillions of dollars of taxpayer money to kill people, but won't spend a tiny fraction of that to save people.

Based on the census numbers, somewhere around 57% is. Maybe that's why 8 of the 9 council members and the mayor are "chocolate".

That doesn't seem to be a problem when the results produce that.
