Let’s debunk GOP myth of why blacks vote Democratic

Wow. That had absolutely nothing to do w/ what I said.

I agree, but the point is that you seem to imply by what you did say, is that the GOP are off the mark by insisting that all lives matter. That they should not be countering the very idea that the problem in the black community is because society (insert white people) don't think lives matter, or should matter, if they are black.

The BLM movement is racist on its face. When the democrat party has fomented racial tensions to create unrest, instead of truly addressing crime and poverty in black communities, it is they, not republicans who are disconnected.

The he racism of black Americans is encouraged by the democrats.

Do you believe there are many black Americans who hold the conviction that black people are genetically superior to other races.
I saw one black panther express that view a long time ago in a TV interview, but I have never heard anything like it since outside of Farrakhan's occasional tongue in cheek musings about the origins of white people.
You have?

Do you seriously think there are no black racists? What an absurd idea.

I've never met a Black Panther, or a Klansman for that matter lol.

And Hispanics. LBJ had no particular interest in who was poor only that they remain poor. Blacks just happened to be more in the news and partly because that rising tide had been lifting the boats of the poor too much.

We are a country that wants cheap stuff and lots of it. The poor allow us to have our cheap stuff. LBJ said what everyone on the Hill knows and promotes. The rich get rich off the backs of cheap labor and we all play into it because we want cheap stuff and lots of it.

This is exactly why Republicans won't get the black vote for quite awhile to come. Completely tone deaf to the issue.

Blacks get pulled over for the color of their skin. They get frisked for the color of their skin. It's not much of a stretch to say that some get shot - because of the color of their skin.

That is why BLM came into being. For someone to say that it should be "all lives matter" just displays a complete disconnect from that experience. It sounds ignorant & dumb.

So, you REALLY think there are no black racists.

Fascinating.

I told you, I saw one once on TV, and Farrakhan has jokingly eluded to it in a MTP interview, but I haven't seen black people profess to believe that blacks are inherently superior to other races.
What's fascinating is that you seem to believe it's common.

BLM is the one that's tone deaf.

To whatever extent blacks are treated differently by cops, BLM and other individuals that wish to call attention to the problem don't do themselves any favors by championing a lie. Hands up don't shoot, was made into a motto after it was a known to be a lie.

People don't like to be lied to. It's not an effective way to advance your agenda.

Also, it always go back to the black blood being spilt by other blacks. It's inescapable on account of sheer numbers. If BLM wants to advocate for better cops, fine. But if Black Lives Really Matter, why does BLM make a fuss over the occasional *innocent* black person killed by a cop, but the daily black lives that are lost in urban areas are no biggie.

Oh, they say they care. But where's the action? Why don't they march? Why don't they shut Bernie Sanders down over it?

It's very easy to conclude they don't really care. That's, tone deaf.

BS. Blacks getting "targeted" in mostly black neighborhoods, in cities ran mostly by democrats is a meme used by democrats to keep black voting blocks in line. Black cops, as well as white cops, have been involved in some of these media circus shows.

OF COURSE there is some misconduct by cops. BUT the trouble is people like you, who are spoon fed by social politics, and then focus on is only when it happens to black Americans.

All you prove by your statements is the unethical bigotry of democrats.

Again - just missing the point of BLM, completely.

It shows the disconnect.

No one is saying it's "no biggie" about daily black lives lost. You are completely missing the point of why BLM formed. It is a direct response to decades of frustration over clearly discriminatory targeting by law enforcement.

What you're arguing is the same as arguing that "pro life" protestors should also be on the front lines protesting against war, or the death penalty. That isn't why the pro-life movement formed. It was specifically about abortion.

Please reread what I wrote because I think there is a misunderstanding here

No, I'm asking for 1. An explanation of what you implied makes black people democrats. And 2. For you to back up how it is what republicans (known republican leadership) say that is openly racist.

To whatever extent it goes on. Their batting average on innocent black victims wasn't too hot last summer. Makes it easy to conclude the problem has been over hyped. Note, I'm not saying it doesn't go on.

Again, with the disconnect.

Ok, so when is someone going to do more than pay lip service to the bigger problem? Or blame it on cops or white people?

I clearly wrote that for example if a black person were to read this board why would they have any desire to vote Republican after reading Republican supporters dropping n bombs and making not so subtle racist comments.
