Trump campaign manager charged with simple battery

Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was arrested and charged in Jupiter, Florida, with simple battery of former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, according to police.

The Jupiter Police Department told CNN that Lewandowski was arrested Tuesday morning after turning himself in on the misdemeanor charge of simple battery.
They said Lewandowski has been released and his initial court appearance is scheduled for May 4. The department also released new video that shows the alleged incident from an overhead angle.

Trump and his, whatever he is, should apologize to this woman. That said, the charge is simple battery with the emphasis on 'simple' lol. On the clip you have to watch closely or you'll miss the 'pull down' attempt. It also happened several days ago which makes you wonder just how serious an incident it was.

But politically, it's a no-brainer. Apologize and watch the issue go away. But that's not Trumps style.
 
Trump first said it did not happen.
Then he said The guy was defending him.
Now he claims she changed her story, she didnt.

Trump was born with a silver spoon and has been in charge of his business for a very long time. He is not used to public opinion swaying his decisions.
 
This just seems to be a load of bullshit to me, a minor incident that has been escalated in that inimitable fashion that happens regularly in the US media.

I think it is admirable that he is sticking by him, all too often politicians just throw their staff to the lions to save themselves.

Grab-gate lol. There's too much senseless grabbing in this country and someone needs to put a stop to it.

My impression is that the guy thought she was going to grab Trump, but the dude totally over-reacted and had no business grabbing her. But a grab is a grab. I doubt if it could be successfully prosecuted. And of course, since it involves Trump the media goes ballistic.

It's blown up out of proportion but Trump should be aware of the optics. Amazingly, he doesn't give a crap and he's gotten away with it, thus far.

A simple battery conviction requires neither one.
He will be found guilty and serve community service in Jupiter Floriduh this summer.
No one cares.
