Try telling that to a Redneck.Very few seem to get this.
It's not some weird theory. It's the way it is. Trump is playing right into the hands of radicals.

That is bullshit and deep down where the liberals haven't yet radicalized you, you must know it.....These people are being radicalized from their religious interpretations and indoctrination....thinking some sort of heaven awaits them for murdering the non-believers.....
its about time we all face reality.
So the radicals are attacking us first and want us to respond because they think that the peaceful muslimes will ignore the ISIS attacks and join the cause?
Interesting theory bro. But I guess it keeps you from dealing with the hard truths.
Bravs, you've been wrong on every aspect of our foreign policy since 2003. And you'll continue to be wrong - you will never learn.
Nothing about what I say or advocate says "we should do nothing." Your problem is that you think there should just be action, and you don't think about what works & what hasn't. So, idiots like you will continue to advocate the same unintelligent BS, and it will continue not working.
At a news conference with Argentina President Macri this afternoon, President Obama said ISIS is "not an existential threat to us." He said a group that has "perverted one of the world's great religions" can not destroy us.
"I addressed this issue a little bit at the baseball game when I was interviewed by ESPN, but let me reiterate it," Obama said Wednesday. "Groups like ISIL can't destroy us. They can't produce anything. They're not an existential threat to us."
"They are vicious killers and murderers who perverted one of the world's great religions and their primary power, in addition to killing innocent lives, is to strike fear in our societies, to disrupt our societies so that the effect cascades from an explosion or an attack by semiautomatic rifle."
Obama said the way to defeat ISIS is reminding them "you are not strong, you are weak."
"We defeat them in part by saying you are not strong, you are weak," Obama declared. "We send a message to those who might be inspired by them to say you are not going to change our values of liberty and openness and the respect of all people."

Obama acts like ISIS is just some kina background noise. It's a worldwide terrorist threat.
Oh. and don't forget al_Qaeda.
Who's asking to change our values? At this point I'm starting to think we ought to just run a huge counter-terrorism operation
and decimating them.. then figure out the next step ( note not "carpetbombing")....
If we could get that Sunni coalition going as mentioned by Egypt and Saudi Arabia..why not?
well it was a stupid way to try to marginalize ISIS..ISIS isn't an existential threat so long as they limit their terrorist acts to small bombs and shootings.
Wish there was some way to guarantee that.
OBL didn't have much in the quiver after 9/11. His hope w/ 9/11 was that we'd respond irrationally, and start some kind of holy war w/ the Middle East. We basically did exactly what he wanted us to.
I've given up on people learning what's up. Most think exactly like you, even though we keep repeating the same mistakes. It's painfully obvious to me, and to a few others out there - but we usually get drowned out. It's a drag to watch, I'll tell you that much. A real drag.
well it was a stupid way to try to marginalize ISIS..
Kinna like when he called them "JV"

It's clear Obama has checked out on it since he's a late second term POTUS. Not that he was ever all that engaged with it to begin with. Progressives prefer to think of such problems as terrorism and illegal immigration as abstractions since it doesn't affect them directly, so they offer abstract solutions.
To whatever extent their solutions actually qualify as solutions.
Have you and Rune thought about going on a muslime outreach/apology tour? I will pay for it
There's only one thing to advocate. Address the core issues that cause radicalization. Implementing moronic policies as Trump and Cruz suggest, and they are moronic, would simply make the problem worse. No...I must amend that. They are rhetoric is currently making the situation worse. What do you advocate?
No, we just understand that your conservative perspective offers no solutions to the problem but, in fact, would aggravate it and is not based on a rational, problem solving approach but is based on hate, fear and bigotry which helps not at all. It's clear Obama has checked out on it since he's a late second term POTUS. he hasn't a clue. SA and Egypt made noises about a "Sunni coalition" to go into Syria - if for no other reason then to check Shiite expansion by Iran. It's clear Obama has checked out on it since he's a late second term POTUS. He's managed to keep us out of another immoral, unneeded and unnecessary war there. No one is in a position to clean up the disaster that W and the neocons created with their cowboy adventurism and infantile neoconservative colonialism. He did manage to get us out of one immoral war and he actually caught and killed the terrorist responsible for killing nearly 3,000 U.S. citizens who Bush said that was really important.
Last think this nation needs is another redneck in the white house making us targets for terrorist like Bush did.
