Christians in Europe? Are you trying to be funny? There were barely enough Christians in Europe to fill out a Sunday school picnic before the immigration crisis. Muslims propagate and Europeans do the 1.2 babies/couple thing. Give it 25-30 years and there'll be about as many Christians left in Europe as there are in Iraq.

If Christians are going to engage Islam in a religious war they better get busy because they're clearly on the wrong end of it now.

It's not a fabrication. Trump said he advocated banning Muslims from entering "UNTIL our representatives figured out what the hell was going on".

The parties guilty of fabrication, and they are legion, lopped-off the UNTIL to make Trump sound like Hitler.

All Hannity did was fill in the blanks. Since 'figuring out what the hell is going on' can only translate into vetting policy.

A policy that is currently hamstrung by political correctness.

Your first mistake here is thinking that Trump has anything to do w/ logic, and that "figuring what the hell is going on" can ONLY translate into vetting policy.

He was asked to clarify those comments at least 3 times (that I saw) in the week that followed, Each time, he said that it was until we could figure out why they hate us so much. Not a peep about "vetting policy."

"Vetting policy" is just something that his supporters have gone with, because they realize how irrational & embarrassing his actual meaning was.

In the original quote it was quite clear Trump was talking about a temporary ban and 'our representatives' needed to figure out what the hell was going on. If you never heard or read the quote you'd think Trump was calling for a lifetime ban because the bulk of the media, purposely, misreported on it.

It goes without saying that taking a hard look at our vetting process is inclusive in Trumps comments. Why do they hate us, btw?
 
It is funny and sad to see that after all of the violence committed by adherents of islum that people like GayRod and Thingy still worry about angering the muslimes. I can't think of any other group that they afford such deference to

I don't look at it as a "nuisance." I think Islamic extremism (and I have no problem w/ that term) is a huge problem - ISIS in particular. I'm all for anything that logically addresses that problem.

To suggest that your remarks are limited to extremists is pretty ridiculous. You definitely feed into the xenophobia & Islamophobia that exists when it comes to this stuff. There are extremists that go under all kinds of religions & banners. Muslim groups around the world have already condemned this action. It sucks that there are those who use religion to mask their political agenda, and who carry out this kind of violence. No one is diminishing that by suggesting that it's dopey to blame the entire religion.

I'm personally glad that most people didn't blame all of Christianity for the atrocities of the KKK 50 or so years ago.
