America will tilt left for years to come

Can't say I've heard that one. The gun issue is what I read about this morning.
I think that one kind of sailed over your head there Wacko. Christie is infering that "Garland voted against Heller" comments is a meme too. They're not true. It didn't happen. It's a smear.

He is probably the best Obama will offer the Republicans. I strategy I read today is they hold off a vote until after the election. If Hillary wins they appoint this guy. If Trump wins they wait for him to make the pick. (of course who knows who Trump would pick)
If the Senate waits till Hillary wins Obama will withdraw his nomination.

Nominees get held up all the time for partisan reasons. Nothing new about that. What they had said prior is they wouldn't even give him a chance to come up for a vote. In this scenario maybe he goes through the q&a process on the Senate floor and then they wait until the election results.

I'm not saying this is what they are going to do, I just read it as a possible scenario.
They may not. What if in early October the polls are showing Hillary at 20% over Trump. They may cut their loses then. As I've pointed out The President has the right to withdraw a nomination that hasn't been confirmed. If the Senate waits till the election without confirming Merrick Garland and Hillary wins President Obama will withdraw his nomination.

Got some bad news for you. The NRA's claim that Merrick Garland would over turn Heller was a fake claim they picked up on. It's not true.

Dude, you should be embarrassed to post anything from Media Matters. You might as well walk around with an 'I'm from Michigan' sticker on your forehead.

I didn't read anything from the NRA. I saw a couple of tweets about it.

I don't think I'm explaining this clearly. Obama has already nominated this guy. If Hillary wins in Nov. Obama can't un nominate him. A vote on him would be taken in November or December in this scenario.
You're wrong. The President has an absolute right to withdraw any nominee he so chooses. Obama can "Un Nominate" him.

Okay, got it. If Hil wins repubs can still vote no on him. And if they do, she can pick someone else that she likes. Right?

Seems like a big gamble, but that's because I don't believe Trump can win in the general.
Not necessarily. The President can withdraw a nominee at any time he so choses until a nominee has been confirmed.

Oh sure, attack the source, not the fact. Google it yourself. Merrick Garland did not vote against Heller in the DC court of appeals. He voted to have the whole court hear the case. Look it up your self or believe the NRA's smear campaign and not the facts.

he helped in the Murrah building bombing investigation

he also oversaw the prosecution of the case

look at the right try to smear him now

what is your claim about media matters asshole

Sure...remember Bush withdrew his nomination of Harriet Maiers?

Uh dude, Bush pulled her less than a month after he nominated her and before she ever went through confirmation hearings. VERY different scenario. His own party rebeled against him. Dems aren't rebelling against this selection. Obama is not going to pull his own nominee after fighting to get him a hearing.

Yeah I will attack Media Matters. If that is the only source claiming something I'd suggest you'd wait for something better to appear.

And English my man, I said that's what I saw claimed on Twitter. I'm not here making or selling that argument.
