The op is the facts....and it explains the history in some detail.....this is the history as it was and pinheads will not get to re-write it to suit their own narrow-minded version of it.....

I was glad she mentioned the previous 15 years of leading up to the war.....that is what idiots ignore the most and intell all across Europe which was the consensus....
whether they were for or against the war is quite irrelevant....only the official intell is.

Second, it IS important that none call for invasion. As I said, it was BUSH who made the decision to go to war. As documented, after he made that decision, he cherrypicked only that intel which supported his claim - and ignored any conflicting reports. Oh - and did I mention that most of those quotes pre-date the war by years?

Put them into context and we'll see if they are substantially changed as to the stand alone version.

Snopes tried to spin that too and it didn't work for them....the question is did they believe Saddam had WMD, not whether they supported war or not....

Another weak retort. Obama has done nothing to compare to the debacle that was the invasion of Iraq. His foreign policy has been bad, but nowhere near as damaging as that disastrous decision.

Second I am not in denial about Iraq. I actually agree that they fucked it all up. However that is not the same as believing Bush lied about WMD.

Like I said before - there is only one real documented lie, regarding Curveball & mobile weapons labs.

I consider that to be minor. However, "fixing the intel around the policy" - while not being a lie - is certainly not honest. Call it what you want.

I remember it all quite clearly. I am not saying that the democrat party was calling for his removal. I am saying they played political games and wanted the vote before the midterms. They pushed the actual vote.
