Goldwater chose to be an idiot, and say stupid shit. His cracks about nukes and wishing the eastern seaboard would drift out to sea were dumb. He easily goes down with Wendell Willkie as the two worst candidates that the GOP has ever run (at least he was an actual Republican). Trump is basically a blend of Willkie (a Democrat) and Goldwater (a crank and a fool). Anyway, who needs for Trump to admire Hitler when he already admires Mussolini?

BTW, how mad are you going to be when you find out all Trump's immigration rhetoric is that just that, rhetoric? Like he told the NY Times it's all about negotiation. He starts off with this hard line rhetoric, which you buy hook line and sinker, and makes a deal from there.

I'm afraid you need to pick a way and go with it.

Trump can't be Hitler and be willing to negotiate on immigration all at once. That's a clear contradiction. Hitler would never compromise on that. By the way, I had a copy of Mein Kampf on my night stand for much of one winter [it took me that long to read it].
