Chris Christi's Fat *ss

He's had a fairly big pro-Trump influence on this election. I'm not sure if Rubio ever would have had a shot - but Christie definitely focused on taking him down, and clearing the path for Trump even further. He made Rubio's "repeated lines" such a big deal, even though Trump repeats himself ad nauseum.

He really disgusts me know. This & bridge-gate are going to be his legacy, as well as denying medical marijuana to people in pain & distress. I can't stand the guy.

Why is Trump his rival? Christi wants a cabinet position. He's trying to hitch his train to who he thinks is the eventual winner. Trump doesn't need Christi.

Yes. It's Christie who is in need of relavance and considering he got his butt kicked by Trump he should look like he's kissing the ring.
Trump is changing the rules like no one has before.
This is what happens when you have someone who is well accomplished and careful in picking advisors handing his own show.

There is a headline on CNN right now: "Scorn, ridicule heaped on Christie."

I was glad to read that.

He's getting ripped to shreds. He made a naked political play hopping on the Trump bandwagon. The point Mott was trying to make about a quid pro quo completely misses what Trump's about. Trump owes no one and he sure as hell wasn't going to owe Christi and we see that with how Trump's treating him.

More like Secretary of State. VP...as Truman quipped...isn't worth a warm bucket of spit. No official roll or authority other than to break ties in the Senate, attends State funerals and hope the President dies.

I think Atty. General is more than likely......VP just might be Cruz, assuming Trump can get nominated.....I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

...and take the Steelers with you!

Yeah, he likely has sour grapes with both major opponents. I could see him selecting Kasich, out of respect, but, my money is on Sandoval, because of Trump's affinity for Nevada.
I don't know much about him, interesting, now I have to go check him out.

You know what I don't get? It's one of the things that makes me roll my eyes at a lot of Republicans when they speak. What is that makes them think that being a businessman qualifies them for politics or public office?

I mean I've never met a businessman that was as smart as an engineer or a physician...and I don't care how much money they make...not all people are driven completely by money.

My experience has been that businessmen in general make lousy politicians and usually suck in public office due to their tendency to be autocrats who thinks everyone should jump at their command.

It's a natural phase in American politics. Lawyers dominate the government, so we go through a phase where people start pulling for businessmen. That was a popula meme during the Gilded Age and the Roaring Twenties, and keeps coming back into style.

The engineers and physicians were the 4.0 high school and college nerds who spent their life in their library and lack social skills. The business types were the one playing sports, joining fraternities and getting laid. They are the ones who learned leadership skills and hire the above mentioned nerds when running their businesses. Many of them are smart enough not to go into politics as well.
