1m people threatened by failing dam.

Surely we should blame Obama for the criminal decision to pull out the troops and allow Daesh to take over Mosul, I daresay you were all for that at the time.

Your logic is a tad warped. Saddam's rule prevented sectarian violence. The West's invasion permitted it- encouraged it. Only somebody of the neoZionist mindset could believe that Iraq could be successfully ' occupied'- or indeed anywhere else.
The US has over a thousand military bases worldwide and is $19 trillion in debt. Why should Americans continue to occupy Middle Eastern countries on behalf of Israel ?

Listen sonny, I was against the Iraq War as much as anybody, ask Rana or Christie. However once you are in a situation like that you can't just up and leave the poor bastards to it. Holy shit, surely that lesson was learnt in Vietnam!! I would also point out that I have a very good Christian Iraqi friend who has lived in England for over 30 years, I would seek his advice on the subject, yours I don't need.

If the Vietnam lesson had been learned there would have been no invasions of Iraq OR Afghanistan. Libya looms large too.

What do you propose we do about this dam in Iraq, moonie?

My guess is as good as yours, under the circumstances.
I'd be inclined to look at the possibilities of opening high-level holes in the jammed gates to relieve the immediate pressure.

Fascinating that you use a word like queue, this tells me that you are not American!!
yes. In the USA we "line up".. I've used queue - as an #800 operator when calls are stacked up to be answered we
say "hurry up! there is a queue to be answered".

I kina like it, but then I'm a fan of most things British.

Yes queue is used in IT and also in call centres but is not used in everyday speech like this cretin has just done.

Nobody American uses the word queue

That would depend entirely upon how long they'd lived in Queuetopia.

I knew a guy who stayed in the UK too long and went home calling everybody a ' twazzock '- and he hadn't even met you.
