Donald Trump has added some heavyweight endorsements to his campaign.

NASCAR CEO Brian France, along with retired race car driver Bill Elliot and his son Chase have endorsed the billionaire businessman for president, making a show of their support at Trump's rally in fronts of thousands, CNN reports.

"You know about his winning in business and success. I'm gonna tell you, he wins with his family," France said about the GOP front-runner. "That's how I judge a winner."

The perception, within and without the Trump presidential campaign, that this is NASCAR’s endorsement of the former Apprentice star has the CEO of one of NASCAR’s biggest sponsors a little bit pissed.

“If you are a business leader, you should not use your platform to discuss your political views, or your religious views,” Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World, said. “You serve at pleasure of your employees and the customers. Brian does not have that right to lay the blanket over an entire sport that is funded by people who write big checks to support him. He is crossing the line by using the NASCAR backdrop that I spend millions of dollars on.”
