Republican Meltdown!

The only reason Sanders isn't going to be your nominee is because he is getting screwed over by the undemocratic methods of the democrat party.

I suspect that you were never a Bernie guy but always a Hillary guy. You seem pretty non plussed by the fact that Bernie is getting screwed over by your democrat establishment. Now either you don't think there is a hairs bit of difference between the two or you have been bullshitting us, or both

No, Bernie is getting less votes than HRC so he wont be the Nominee, see that's the way the Democratic method works.

OK. Pick 1 year. Why are you making this so hard.

Also, is it safe to assume you earn over $200K a year as an attorney?

You cant pick one year, it does not work that way. Also you cant compare my 2015 salary with a 1950's salary. Sorry, you game does not play.

We have astronomical debt that started skyrocketing about the same time as the wealthy stopped being required to pay high taxes.

Actually, you can pick one year and I can compare your 2015 salary to a 1950s salary using an inflation calculator. It isn't really that hard.

What are you so afraid of? You started this conversation now you are pulling a Zipperhead and crawfishing out of it. There is a difference between 1950 and 1959. I want you to pick a year so you can't squirm out of this. If you no longer want to debate this issue with me, I will understand if you say no mas. I am not trying to trick you at all.

You said you want a tax code from back then, but you won't pick one. It isn't that hard. Just pick one year

Wow you really are a kool aid drinker.

Yeah, I guess if you consider coin flips and high card as a democratic method then so be it

bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

No. I do not.

First of all, they are nothing more than smokescreens by the pro baby killing crowd. Second of all. If I believe that abortion is murdering the baby, why would I say "It is OK to murder it under some circumstances and not others"?

IHA, so very concerned with the "life" of an unborn zygote.

Sadly, he's got NO CONCERN for the mother whose life is endangered and he's perfectly willing to let her DIE.

Jarod says he supports Bernie but hasn't spoken about him once. Christifan says she supports Bernie but is more concerned with defending Hillary. With that type of 'support' it's not surprising he's going to get smoked going forward.

For the sake of discussion I agree with you that blacks have been sold a bill of goods by the Democrats. But what have Republicans done to make black voters want to move over to their side?

I don't know that you can do that without making promises you can't keep. There's only so much the government can do for any community or bloc of voters. What's the government answer for single parent or fatherless families? And if you subsidize them you just encourage more of the same. If you want to increase the frequency of a behavior, subsidize it. It's a law as sure as gravity.

That's why so many of the liberal-led urban areas are locked in a downward spiral.

Conservatives preach a healthy economy which benefits everyone across the board.

To win over people's votes you have to make an effort. How often does a Republican go into the black community to preach school choice and other free market ideas? Very rarely. IF the goal is to win blacks to our side sitting on our hands saying 'blacks are stupid and stuck on the democrat plantation and only want free sh*t' isn't the best way to do it. An effort has to be made. There's also the fact that going after the black vote may risk alienating a bigger chunk of the white vote which is why Republicans don't do it.

Stuff on Facebook is all anecdotal but I see comments there made by black people I grew up with that mirror what many other blacks say across the country and that is they think Republicans hate them and thus the favor is returned. Trump is only driving this divide even deeper.

You are trying to do a comparison that does not work, but pick any year that's fine with me....

ON the Democratic side, we don't have to hate one candidate in order to support another.

You're whole premise is something that worked in the 1950's will work today, over half a century later, because it worked in the 1950's as if nothing else has changed economically.

LOL. Nice reading Jarod. I said you won't even speak about the person you claim to support. Nice bullshit response though.

It will result in a more fair economic system where Americans born of any station in life, via hard work, can get ahead if they chose. IT will work to prevent us from living with outrageous debt. I am also happy for him to do some comparison with my salary if he wants. I would accept paying a lot more in taxes should it come to that.

Sure I will, in fact I have many times. I have explained Democratic Socialism to ILA at least twice and why I think movement in that direction will benefit America.

I agree that republicans should do a better job of talking to the black community. I don't think it has to do with risking the white vote though. If you are the type of person that would be put off by a candidate making overtures to blacks, where are you going to go? To the democrat lol?

Rather, I honestly think many republicans have written off the black vote as hopeless and that needs to change.

I very much agree with your last point. What's hard is a lot of work needs to be done and someone who tries to lay the ground work today probably won't see much of an initial return (in terms of votes). You go a couple of decades back and Republicans could win without the black vote but the percentage of white America has decreased so that's changing.
