Trump endorsements continue to pour in

Was any of you questions answered?.....if they were I missed it....

amazing the pinheads see no equivalency here at all....

Imagine Trump or any other republican trying to get away with that verbal tap dance in 'denouncing' the Klan.

Trump could have answered the same way. Instead he lied about not knowing who Duke was and then of course today came out and repudiated Duke. Did he gain more support doing it this way?

Absolutely. He knows who David Duke is, he knows what the white supremacist movement is. Just ridiculous how he tried to play the whole cat-who-ate-the-canary routine to pander to his base.

I'm beginning to think the man doesn't have an honest bone in his body. First he lies, then he lies again to cover the first one, ad infinitum.

Trump really said he didn't know Duke and doesn't think he ever met him......not quite what you claim....

Like me saying I don't know Obama and never met him.....perfectly true.....

Considering Trump had called him a racist before that's a semantics game that doesn't make Trump look good.

two days before Trump disavowed Duke on the campaign trail and 16 years after Trump disavowed Duke on the op-ed page of The New York Times.......

We're missing something, here......how do you explain it.....could he have misunderstood the question ?

Sematics???????? Its clear English.....he didn't say he never heard of him, he said he didn't KNOW him...and never met him.......thats not the equivalent of 'he didn't know of him"

I go by what he said, not what he might have meant......and I'm not even a fan.

Why repudiate it later then? I'm going to surmise he didn't go meet with Duke in the meantime.

This apparent desperation, from the liberals and the MSM, just shows how scared they are and reveals the FACT that they're worried that Hillary won't be able to win.

Are you saying that the Communist Party is the moral equivalent of the KKK?

Has the KKK slaughtered millions? The KKK are hateful and ignorant to be sure- but communist leaders are evil vile murderers. So, no there is no need to invoke any kind of moral equivalency, wouldn't you agree?

That makes no sense. Why would Trump disavow Duke in one instance but not another? It makes no sense to pander to the 'Duke coalition' lol, when doing so risks aleinating the much larger bloc of reasonable voters. It just doesn't add up.

The only thing that adds up is that Trump either knew he was being baited by the CNN reporter and was being a sarcastic ass about it; or, he meant he didn't know Duke personally.

And either instance is much ado about not a whole lot; unless you're out to tear Trump down which different parties are trying to do for various reasons.

I'm a lifelong Republican and with that comes many liberals claiming I'm a racist. Generally I don't give two sh*ts that they claim it because as Chris Rock pointed out at the Oscars these liberals are racist themselves. However now the front runner for the Republican Party has just been supported by David Duke and when asked about it on national TV he won't disavow Duke or the KKK (but will on Twitter 24 hours later). That's a big problem.

Trump is the caricature come to life that all liberals try to paint Republicans and conservatives as. And the thing is Trump has been a liberal most his life. Yet we have people on the right defending him like he's been fighting on 'our side' for decades or something.

People have complained Republicans have been too willing to make deals with Democrats. Trump's whole M.O. is making deals. It's what he said to the NY Times that won't be released.

I understand we're just having discussions on this board among ourselves, we have no national audience. But I'll say this in real life as well. Trump is an opportunist who has the ability to tap into people's fears and concerns but will sell them out in a heartbeat once in office. And as a Republican I don't want to sit by ideally as he F's the party.

i honestly believe Trump was ignorant on the David Dukes endorsement. This is more an endictment of his obvious lack of knowledge. Let's not forget his being unable to answer the nuclear protocol question in a debate. Trump is a dummy on most subjects- except how to make money and what constitutes a beautiful woman.

I could buy the ignorant argument except that he left the Reform Party in the past because Duke was there and called him a racist. So he knows who the guy is.

I love your last sentence (and I especially admire him for those last two traits) but he knew what he was doing by not answering the question.

He might have been ignorant of David Duke's endorsement, but he was not ignorant of who David Duke is and what he stands for.

The Donald is ignorant at his convenience.

That's called lying.....

The Republicans are great at nominating candidates that destroy their best argument against the Democrats nominee.

Their big issue in 12' was Obamacare, they nominated Romney.
Their big issue in 16' is that HRC is a liar, they nominate Trump.
