Handguns under 14?

Hell I didn't even know there was a law against it. I fired my first handgun at 9 years. I had a 0.22 pistol when I was 12. By the time I was fourteen I was hunting with shotguns and I bet I only weighed about 100 lbs.

Back in the day when you grew up, a sheep farmer's whole family on the frontier (Ohio) had to be armed to fight off wolves, bears, and hostile natives.

Both of my daughters shot before they were 10. Being that my dad owned his own firearms business, he taught me and my brother at a young age and I did the same with my daughters.
 
I didn't even know that there was some place in the US that is so stupid that there is no way to teach kids about firearms. It's insane to me.

Not at all. I'm stating that Eddie the Eagle was developed by the NRA to fill the gap in child firearm education.

If parents don't teach their children about guns, Eddie will.

Mott ain't that old that he have to worry about American Indians, idiot.

Don't have to worry about wolves and bears so much anymore, but today its just those ever present hostile natives to the US and now hostile non-natives, thanks to Obama.
