Right or wrong conservative voters are tired of being fucked over. They expect to be fucked over by the left. That is politics. Donald Trump is nothing more than a big middle finger to a frustrated slice of the electorate who doesn't feel represented by the current crop of politicians. We got fed up with Eric Cantor and booted him with Dave Brat spending in total what Cantor spent on steak dinners.
Eventually people will get fed up.

I don't think I've seen the political discourse get so low and childish in my lifetime, and that's saying something. He was throwing water all over the stage, making fun of Rubio sweating and taking shots over & over again about Rubio's height.

Maybe. I have no doubt he'd be a far better President than Dumbya...though obviously I'm not setting the bar very high. Trump is riding high on a wave cause he's had the balls to point at the GOP establishment and declare that the emperor is naked and a broad swath of people are just loving it.

As far as I'm concerned the GOP has been long over due for this and I'm enjoying every minute of it. :)

A YouGov/Economist poll also showed that “nearly 20 percent of Trump supporters” opposed the Emancipation Proclamation.

Everyone but establishment republicans are enjoying it. Even if Trump loses he changes things in the party.

And things needed changing.
 
Trump is going populist
I've screamed at republicans who pose as freedom lovers
Democrats dropped the ball on pot
Go freedom eliminate prohibition and you get the White House fore 12 years
