Sorry but my ass wasn't reamed. Blacks and other minorities have a higher percentage of getting the DP than whites. https://www.aclu.org/race-and-death-penalty

The fact that you've thrown up this smokescreen tells me you have no argument about sentencing inequities.

but that isn't true.....they are convicted of 47% of the murders yet get only 36% of the DP sentences......statistically that means they are less likely to get the DP than whites are.......why are you lying about the inequities?.......

In 2013, there were 5700 murders. 2700 (47.4%) were committed by a group that makes up 13% of the population. That's 3 1/2 times their proportion in society.

There are the facts. Like I said on others posts, when you're provided with them, you refuse to accept. This will be another case of where you asked, they were provided, and you denied. Are you going to deny that you said you would shoot me with a gun?

It's not about causation. It's proving that blacks commit murders at a 3 1/2 times rate higher than they are in the population. Take from it what you want. I didn't say being black was the reason they did it. I proved that blacks did it on a disproportionate rate to their proportion of the population.

I know that 47% of murders being committed by a group of people that make up 13% of the population is a disproportionate amount and the proportions don't put that group in a good light.

Apparently she doesn't know that it isn't about causation but a comparison of a group making up 13% committing 47% of something.
