The anniversary of a time when the US meddled in Iran's business and we should not have done so.
It is disgusting they did this to our sailors, Carter is right, the US would not do this to an Iranian.
Yet Carter did absolutely NOTHING when Iran did.

We should not have meddled in Iran's internal affairs.Yet Carter did absolutely NOTHING when Iran did.
Looks like we got another iran terrorist apologist on our hands...hezbollah is the West's problem, and the problem of every sunni regime in the region. Hezbollah has been caught and exposed conducting or planning attacks across europe, raises funds for its terrorism through selling drugs and other forms of crime in the West, and to claim they don't use suicide bombings is nonsensical garbage: for example, the bombings of the US marine barracks and embassy building were both suicide attacks, as were many of their other acts of terrorism.
well they are and they aren't "terrorists" -and I agree they are more regional players. Did the Syrian gov't requesrt them or did their iman/leader Nasrallah decide to insert them into Syria ? anyhow, check this out:Hizb'allah are not terrorists. Hizb'allah is the military wing of the democratically-elected Lebanese government and is opposed to ISRAEL, not the West per se. Hizb'allah is helping to defeat ISIS in Syria at the request of the Syrian government and because ISIS is a threat to Lebanon. When ISIS is defeated Hizb'allah will return to ridding Lebanon of its occupation by neoZionist fascists. Yes, I'm talking about the Shaaba Farms- which are Lebanese.

Your article is by somebody named Rosenfeld. I suspect he might have a bit of a grouch towards the Lebanese resistance.
All of Lebanon's problem were as a result of the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. In fact, you'll find the Zionists behind just about all of the problems of the entire Middle East.
But Shhhhhhhhhhhh- you're not allowed to say so. AIPAC will assassinate your character and get you fired.
The Zionist plan has always been to ethnically cleanse and then try to brand the resistance as ' terrorists '. Thousands of mugs fell for it. Time for change.

Is anyone really surprised Iran would make a mockery of our sailors? Oh wait, yes there are, and they are in charge of our foreign policy. It's amazing, astounding, perplexing....it's hard to find words for it. The Iranians chant 'death to America', for crying out loud. What did they expect them to do?
This is worse than Jimmy Carter. Carter had a better grip on reality than this.
We should not have meddled in Iran's internal affairs.
he looks pretty mainstream to me: http://www.thedailybeast.com/contributors/jesse-rosenfeld.html
Jesse Rosenfeld is a Canadian journalist based in the Middle East since 2007. His work has been published with the Nation, the Guardian, Al Jazeera English, Le Monde Diplomatique, the Toronto Star and the National among others
The US has been meddling in Iran's business since the CIA helped overthrow their elected president Mossadegh more than 50 years ago. The Iranians have long memories.
Tell that to the iranian cunts who are "meddling" in nearly every other country in the mideast. And what the US did does not even begin to approach what iran has been doing.
I agree. ayatollah Khomeini stole the Iranian revolution for a Shia fundamentalist regime hostile to the west.
Persia is not naturally anti-western. It was cosmopolitan before the Iranian revolution, and still desires many western lifestyles.
There are more nose jobs for Iranian women in Tehran, then even Beverly Hills; lipstick has come to Tehran.
Really Lebanon's problems started when the PLO was ejected from Jordan and took refuge in Lebanon.
Don't waste your time responding to a scumbag whose sole existence is to attack jews.
More unfounded drivel from transwarpdrivel.
Oh, a jew hater that supports Muslim TORTURERS?

yes.agreed. the Iranian revolution was hijackedAsk a woman in iran old enough to remember whether people had more freedoms and a better life under the shah, or under the terrorist mullah regime - they will tell you under the shah, life was FAR better. Women were in universities, wearing western dress, participating in all aspects of life, people were much freer overall - all they had to do was stay out of politics and the shah would leave them alone to do whatever they wanted.
