She doesn't like Clinton or Sanders yet she doesn't give a name of someone she thinks would do the better than those two.
She said she wants to change the Democratic Party.

Try reading the article. It is not saying 'why Hillary doesn't deserve conservative votes'... it says 'why Hillary doesn't deserve the BLACK vote'
IF you aren't going to bother reading the OP, then why comment?
The OP author is making the case why black voters should be looking at SANDERS (not Hillary).
This is being held against Hillary because SHE and BILL supported this.

I read the article, moron. And I chose to start my responses with that particular quote.
The bill was introduced by a republican and supported by more republicans than Democrats.
Holding it against Hillary is just stupid. Hillary was not a politician at the time and had no say-so about the bill's enactment.
Let's hold Laura Bush responsible for her support of the Iraq war.
So she took the easy way out, criticism but no proposed solutions.
If you're talking about the '94 crime bill it was written by Joe Biden and FAR more Democrats voted for it than Republicans.
No, I was talking about the bill to change welfare.
Christi, why do you feel black people should vote for Hillary over Bernie?
Ultimately it was still signed by Bill and Hillary has touted Bill's record on the campaign trail. Again, Alexander isn't suggesting blacks vote for a Republican.
Yes, but so what? Laura supported the Iraq war, Nancy supported Iran-Contra, Barbara supported the Persian Gulf war. Why is Hillary being held responsible for what her husband did when she had no input other than possibly pillow talk?
That's my problem with the article, that the author is reaching back 20 years to blame Hillary for stuff she didn't do. Does the author really think any woman whose husband is in politics is going to outspokenly oppose his policies?

To make matters worse, the federal safety net for poor families was torn to shreds by the Clinton administration in its effort to “end welfare as we know it.” In his 1996 State of the Union address, given during his re-election campaign, Clinton declared that “the era of big government is over” and immediately sought to prove it by dismantling the federal welfare system known as Aid to Families With Dependent Children (AFDC). The welfare-reform legislation that he signed—which Hillary Clinton ardently supported then and characterized as a success as recently as 2008—replaced the federal safety net with a block grant to the states, imposed a five-year lifetime limit on welfare assistance, added work requirements, barred undocumented immigrants from licensed professions, and slashed overall public welfare funding by $54 billion (some was later restored).

But why? Urban blacks have it the worst and urban areas are run by democrats, so they can't blame republicans, much less, conservatives.
Makes no sense.

That is why she is being held accountable. She thinks it was a success.
She's out there touting Bill's record as a positive for her. Well with that comes the good with the bad. Jeb Bush has tried to defend his brother's record on the campaign trail and rightly got hit with questions about Iraq.
Just my opinion here, you clearly don't have to listen to me. Instead of viewing the article from a 'must defend Hillary from the haters' mindset put yourself in the shoes of this black woman who doesn't view America from a partisan prism but is pro-black and thinks America is essentially racist and the system is set up against black males. Maybe your thoughts about her won't change but she's coming from a much deeper place than 'who's your candidate for this election'.
She has written that even the CBC voted to support Clinton's crime bill and others in the '80's that she claims hurts blacks. She's not calling the CBC racist. I read her book, her only agenda was pro-black. What do you think her agenda is?I agree 100% with the bolded. Yet it's always been this way and no president has been able to change the mindsets of people who are racist, not even Obama. That's why I think she has an agenda.
If you were against welfare reform you must be a secret liberal.
