"Socialist" Bernie Sanders is a MILLIONAIRE

Joe Biden - "Time to put Trump in the bullseye."
He takes bribes just like every other politician.

There is a short answer to the question: a lot richer than he admits. And the longer answer is even more interesting. Writing at Doug Ross’s Director Blue, Cliff Kincaid explains:

[former publisher of Campaigns & Elections Magazine James] O’Brien has analyzed the financial status of Sanders and his wife, including their financial disclosure report, and has concluded they have a net worth in the range of $1.2 to $1.5 million, not the $700,000 or less that is usually reported by the media. (snip)

…his wife, Jane O’Meara Sanders, left her position as president of Burlington College under controversial circumstances and is now being accused of federal bank fraud. She left her position at the college and was given a severance package known as a “golden parachute” that also benefited Senator Sanders’ personal wealth.

So fucking what? Anyone who understands the system can be that, if it helps, unlike the bloody morons who support it. 'The point, however, is to change it'.

Under capitalism, yeah, anyone can be rich. Under socialism, no one is supposed to be rich. Bernie is another huge democrat hypocrite.

Because it casts a dark shadow on old Bernie's socialist bona fides ? Cheer up ! Now you can go all anti semetic on him !

Dude is 70 years old and been working most of his life. To be worth a million dollars is nothing. If he bought a house when he was 40 that would be worth a million or more today.

And anti-sematic? Sorry dude, I'm not moon2012.

Moron, shut your ignorant retard mouth.
Show any multi-term Senator who isn't a fucking millionaire.
You stupid fuck.

HAHAHA. I love driving you ballistic. Anyway - yes i know all senators are rich. They all take bribes. Bernie is a phony who cares only about lining his own pockets and cares nothing about america or the poor. THINK, you miserable america-hating wretch.

A lot of people who have worked for 45-50+ years are going to have over a million in assets. This is actually not much of a shock and certainly not an indication that he is having his pockets lined by outside interests/lobbyists/pacs

Worked?? Bernie has never worked in his life. Politicians are welfare queens living off the taxpayers. THINK

Someone with that much money that believes what Bernie claims he supports shouldn't have that much. He should be more than willing to do with it voluntarily what he demands others with that much be forced to do. We both know, although you'll never admit it, that it's not how bleeding hearts work. They think compassion comes from supporting something then proving it means finding someone else to fund it.

It's contradictory when someone like Bernie, a person that believes in all sorts of "free" shit is a right, has that much. If he truly believed what he said about people being able to go to college when their parents can't afford it, he'd find them, pay their tuition, and prove he cares. When he has that much, what it shows me he cares about is seeing how many OTHER people with millions he can force it from.

I suggest you follow your own advice. While I am certainly not a fan of most politicians, we do need them to run the country. Someone has to do the job. While I disagree with many of Sanders policies/thoughts etc... he does at least stick to his guns and out of the lot, he seems to be one of the least corrupt.

Again, you are conflating ideas. It is not contradictory to try and fight for the average person, yet still have a million in assets (again... after 50 YEARS of work).

If you want to discuss hypocritical, then perhaps a better tact would be to look at Bernies salary as a Senator relative to those on his staff. To be clear, I do not know what his staff makes relative to him, but I would bet it isn't spread evenly. (could be wrong)

We don't need politicians running the country. We need people who care about the country not those trying to get elected by seeing who they can pander to with things like "free" college then going about finding how many others they can force to fund it.

Stick to his guns? His only "gun" is give this group (fill in the blank) and force this group (fill in the blank) to pay for it.

Again... I do not agree with how Bernie wants to run the government. But you know where he stands. His constituents know that is what he stands for and they chose to elect him time and again. So yes, he sticks to his guns. You and I may not like his ideas, but he hasn't seemed to deviate from his positions much over the years.

Yes... we do need politicians. It is the only way the government can be run. It is a necessary evil. I agree that we can certainly improve the quality of politicians in DC. But that doesn't mean we don't need politicians.

Why wouldn't those who think another person owes them anything they want not vote for someone supporting that? It's not an issue of whether he has stuck to it or not but what he's stuck to. Are you surprised that someone thinking that taxpayers should do for them with college tuition what their own damn parents won't do for them would support Bernie? I'd bet the parents that won't do for their own kids what they think taxpayers should do support him, too.

When someone becomes a politicians, they become the problem. Take it from someone that has been elected on a local level that wasn't a politician but what he expects those elected to be when it comes to doing what's best for the constituents instead of himself.

According to the constitution, the country is supposed to be run by the states. Federal senators should have practically nothing to do and should not be collecting $170,000 in salary plus $500,000 in bribes every year.

Then you need to restate your previous comments. I stated, clearly, that he stuck to his guns. He did. You simply don't like what he stands for. That is acceptable. Neither do I (for the most part).
