Allmost impossible to integrate Muslims into Western Europe,' says Czech president

Czech president is a xenophobe - but the idea this is too many too fast and that multi-culturalism is problematic is correct.
Europe's 'open borders' is a wreck. Too many people/refugees overwhelm all possibilities of assimilation
 
Like the Irish Roman Catholics from the West of Ireland in Britain, Muslims will integrate unless violent racism/chauvinism/religious hate is built up against them. If it is, it will take five generations and a lot of deaths, if not two.

Or we can adopt their culture instead of vis a versa. Then again, that probably won't help much.

You don't seem to be aware of Muslims in Europe and how they have chosen not to assimilate.

Let me tell you a story Mott. There is a management discipline called Operations Research that came out of WW2. One of its earliest uses was by the RAF to study Lancasters coming back from bombing missions over Germany. The consensus of opinion was that the areas most often hit by ack-ack and night fighters should be reinforced with armour. However one bright spark said that was wrong and they should put armour on the undamaged areas. Naturally the consensus said he was mad until he pointed out that it was obvious that the planes that didn't return were being hit in those areas and were destroyed as a result. I am recounting that true story as it highlights much of the skewed thinking on this issue.

Now to immigration! The Swedes have taken in over 150,000 migrants in the last year, the vast majority being single Muslim men. The population of Sweden is a tad shy of 10 million, hence translated into American terms that is the equivalent of around 5 million people arriving in southern Sweden, an area about the same size as Ohio. In fact as my Swedish friends pointed out, most are in either Stockholm or Gothenburg. Now can you tell me how easily they could absorbed? The EU is potentially only weeks away from suspending the Schengen Agreement as it will cause huge problems otherwise. So tell me why uber-liberal nations like Sweden and Denmark are now closing their borders? Maybe you could ask your Somalian taxi driver.

Oh by the way, we have many Somalis, Ethiopians and Yemenis in my part of the world! The Somalis first came over in the 1930s to work in the steel industry.

I bet there are more mosques in England than Muslims in your neck of the woods. Do yourself a favour and read this article by Yasmin Alibhai-Brown. She has an impeccable liberal reputation but she has also seen the light!

Rochdale has a large Muslim population, and I’m a Muslim woman. Yet at the height of the general election campaign last year I visited the town and, as I walked around with the standing MP in predominantly Muslim areas, I saw no one like me. There were many Muslim men – but no women out and about. It was as if they had been spirited away in a spaceship. I went knocking on doors. The women were there, but they would not come out. Many, I believe, felt they had to stay indoors unless they were accompanied by a male member of their family. And most spoke little English.

This final point was thrown into sharp focus as the subject of a controversial national debate yesterday when David Cameron fired a broadside against British Muslim women, saying that 190,000 spoke little or no English, and that it’s up to ordinary Britons from all backgrounds to change our attitudes. We are racist to accept this, he says – it’s the ‘racism of low expectations’. The Prime Minister has identified the right problem, but he’s blaming the wrong people. It isn’t the Muslim women who are the root of the problem, much less the British public. The problem is the Muslim menfolk who are gradually stripping away all the rights of their wives and daughters. It is also the politicians who collude in that Islamic misogyny and the oppression of women.
