The policy change would allow transgender athletes to compete without having gender reassignment surgery
It would allow transgender athletes to compete after one year of hormone replacement therapy and no surgery is required
The change would be in line with NCAA standards in the United States

Olympic officials have not confirmed the new guidelines, which have already been adopted by other regulatory sports organizations, but the policy is available on the organization's website.

We really should not segregate the sexes for sports anyway. Women say they're equal to men and so all male and female athletes should compete together.
 
Fascinating. Seriously. I'm wondering how many dudes will know they can't compete with other dudes but will actually do this to be able to compete more at a level where they know they can win. Probably zero. The only guy I know who would do that is the one guy actually going through the therapy to become a woman, and she isn't going to win any medals.
 
need more classes.......men's events. women's events, men who think they are women's events, women who think they are men's events.........men who think they are ponies events.....etc..........

I remember Tamara Press being kicked out and having to return her medals when sex tests discovered she was a man. I am given to understand men will able to compete with women without having full gender realignment surgery. I just don't see chicks with dicks going down well with real women athletes. However this is yet another cause célèbre for PC zealots to get agitated about.

Lots of men will choose to compete with the women. We're talking big money here.

That's right. No surgery needed. This is bad news for women's sports .
