She spoke in a positive uplifting way about what's so great about our country. She spoke about being a poor immigrant family growing up in an area where she didn't look like her neighbors. But her family worked hard and she was able to achieve. She spoke about people coming together after the tragic shooting in Charleston. She spoke about the positives of immigration but also why we can't have open borders.

Now I'm biased because my family has deep South Carolina roots but that aside she did very well.
