the republican candidates are actually pretty diverse. There's a woman, an african american, two hispanics, there was an indian-american, there's youth, there's old, there's long time politicians and outsiders. The african american was a front runner at one point and Fiorina was close as well to being the front runner at one point, and right now a hispanic is probably going to beat Trump in Iowa. The democrats have a woman and a man both older white people that have been in politics most of their lives and their front runner was pretty much hand picked by the party to win with little options for democrats to truly choose from.
