gun nut kills wife and daughter in law

From reading the article is sounds like the man was drunk and the gun was just the tool for him to use in his drunken rage over a washing machine. He could have used a knife, an ax, a bat, he could have driven his car into the house, he could have started a fire, or any other way to hurt or kill them if he didn't have a gun. It's a tragedy but the gun wasn't the cause of this and it didn't start it, but ironically enough the gun was used to put an end to it.

The 54-year-old father was a heavy drinker with a large gun collection, and authorities had made dozens of previous trips to the home, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said.

gun nuts are evil and dangerous

Sounds like alcohol was the real issue

The difference I see is in the tool. If they used a hammer to beat them to death then we'd not even hear about this because gun nuts wouldn't care as it couldn't be used to promote their political agenda to take away 2nd Amendment rights.

I'm not a big fan of guns, but do you believe only gun nuts kill people?

And what is a gun nut? I keep seeing this word thrown around for anytime any civilian shoots someone.

Cops can be gun nuts too...

I wanted to show off my gun collection but Sheogorath deleted my post from his "Guns" thread.
I don't keep them all lined up neat like he does... but here they are;
