I'll be back later. Don't have a cow, man.
It's amusing to watch Christians twist the Bible in a desperate attempt to distance themselves from Dear leader.

If a Muslim kills, all Muslims are guilty and must be expelled.
If a Christian kills, they weren't really a real Christian.![]()
Murder is murder regardless of faith. A Christian can do evil just as easily as a Muslim or a Jew can. It's wrong either way. In my opinion though if a Christian commits a murder they have a lot of forgiveness to ask of from God and it may or may not come.
I'm sure that Dears' victims are comforted by the thought that Dear leader may or may not not be forgiven on Judgement Day.
Thank you for thinking of them in their hour of sorrow.
Well that wasn't what you were taking about though. You were talking about Christians vs Muslim when it comes to committing acts of violence.
Dear leader was a Christian.
What comfort can you, as a Christian, offer the people his victims left behind?
I don't know what kind of comfort I could provide or even if I'm qualified to do such a thing. I know for me when I'm going through hard times I lean on my faith in Christ along with my family and friends for comfort.
I will check back in the morning to see if you've given up.......
.It's like a central tenet of their beliefs.
I'll be back later. Don't have a cow, man.
Okay, Pmp. Try and follow this
Read's ex: He found excuses for his transgressions, she said, in his idiosyncratic views on Christian eschatology and the nature of salvation. “He claims to be a Christian and is extremely evangelistic, but does not follow the Bible in his actions,” Ms. Micheau said in the court document. “He says that as long as he believes he will be saved, he can do whatever he pleases. He is obsessed with the world coming to an end.”
christie: (referring to above bolded comment) "Holy crap, where have we heard this before? It's like a central tenet of their beliefs."
Then you come along and change the meaning of what I said to Christians in general rather than Read's beliefs.
Pmp: ignorance of Christian beliefs is a liberal tenet.......
christie: I've heard that phrase (as long as he believes he will be saved, he can do whatever he pleases) too many times to count, along with "I'm not perfect, just forgiven."
Then again you falsely claim that I was speaking of Christians in general rather that Read and fundies who share his belief.
Pmp: I merely pointed out that only an ignorant liberal would say that "as long as he believes he will be saved, he can do whatever he pleases" is a a central tenet of Christian beliefs.
christie: Did you miss the fact that I was quoting his ex-wife... You're still claiming i meant all Christians rather than fundies like read.
Pmp: are you saying this is a quote from his wife?....
christie: Are you saying it's not the central tenet of fundamentalism?
Legion: (quoting from article) The Bible teaches “once saved, always saved” -- that we can be saved once and for all only through a repentant, saving faith in Jesus Christ. Once a person has accepted Christ as Savior, they may wonder if it is possible to lose that salvation. What if they commit a sin? What if they commit a lot of sins? What if they do something very, very wrong? Is it possible to be saved, and then lose that salvation? Fortunately, the answer is a resounding “no.” Once a person has accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, he/she is forever saved. This fact is referred to as the doctrine of “eternal security,” often summarized as “once saved, always saved.”
christie: In other words, the central tenet Pmp is denying.
Then for the third time you falsely claim that I was speaking about Christianity in general rather than Read's fundamentalism.
Pmp: that's nice, but it isn't what you claimed.....why don't you find something to support your idiotic statement instead......
Then you ignore LT's article about "once saved, always saved" and try for the fourth time to claim I was speaking about all of Christianity.
Pmp: come on folks.......if this is a central tenet of Christianity you ought to be able to find a Christian web site that states it.
Ad nauseam.
The only one moving the goalposts is you. And the chronology of the posts shows you are FOS. End of story.
uh Christie.....none of that does anything to show that "as long as he believes he will be saved, he can do whatever he pleases" is a central tenet of It's like a central tenet of their beliefs".......that is the goalpost and you can do anything you want to "prove" something else besides the goalposts but you don't get any points......
you can't sit back now and pretend that when you said "their beliefs" you only meant Dear's beliefs........the chronology of the posts actually shows us that you got nothing......
I absolutely meant what Dear and fundamentalists like him believe. Haven't you been reading Gomie's posts, or Philly Rabbit's, to name two on JPP?
All those that are trying to equate these muslimes to Christians deliberately miss one salient point
Christians that kill aren't doing it in the name of Christianity
muslimes are
The debate is over
Maybe he doesn't even read his own. The other day he claimed that a Wiki article that said Tim McVeigh wrote a latter claiming to be agnostic proved that he was atheist.
You cannot be serious. Dead is dead, and it doesn't matter if the killer shouts "Allahu akbar" or "Die, for Christ's sake."
