Should you have children and one came under threat and you are the only person in the world who can prevent harm, you would not fight ?
Few people have nothing they love enough to fight for so if no kids is there nothing else you love ?
Its a hypothetical I'm not going to make you DO anything.
My mastiff is a lover too but she cant take flight, she will fight and if it comes to that, she will fight to win.

The Nazi's tried brutal collective reprisals to stave off partisans during WWII, they'd level entire villages and kill thousands in response to one assassination. Did it stop the partisans? No. The tactics the Nazi's used were more brutal than anything the right is proposing, and they didn't work, why do you think the rights tactics would work? These are old, brutal, resurrected tactics that civilized nations abandoned a long time ago for a reason, they're not a valid counterinsurgency strategy and they won't work.
