How can you tell if the guy standing next to you with a gun on his hip is a good guy or a bad guy?

Do criminals show their weapons all the time or at the point crime begins ? The element of surprize is key to crime ?

Why do I get the feeling that these folks think "Red Dawn" is a documentary?![]()
Because you are a complete fucking idiot.

It would surprise me if you had any verifiable experience that would establish your credibility in what criminals do or don't do.
It would also surprise me if you could spell.![]()

If 44 states already allow open carry, have we achieved the armed society/polite society nirvana?
1) it's not my problem if you wet your panties at the sight of a gun
2) if guns scare you, do you run from the police?
3) I feel very secure with a gun on my hip, wouldn't you?
4) open carry has been found to be a deterrent to crime, therefore I don't need to worry about the 'element of surprise' as those who do are itching to shoot someone.
