The reaction to Muslims in general right now is a drag. I'm not sure if most realize that this is exactly what ISIS wants. The more we view most or all Muslims in a negative light, the more they're going to be marginalized and isolated.

It's the same as 9/11. Bin Laden had a one-shot deal - that was all he had. What he was hoping for was that the U.S. would lash out at the Middle East in general, and start a protracted war that would help bankrupt us and help terrorist groups recruit.

We couldn't have reacted any better from his perspective. Played right into his hands - just like we're doing w/ ISIS right now.

It's very depressing.
