Democrat debate # 2

Question to LIAR Clinton:
“You supported his trade deal dozens of times. You even called it the ‘gold standard.’ Now, suddenly, last week, you’re against it,” Cooper said. “Will you say anything to get elected?”
Answer: Clinton told Cooper that when the trade deal was unveiled, she “hoped” it would be the “gold standard” for agreements.
THE FACTS:
“This TPP sets the gold standard in trade agreements to open free, transparent, fair trade, the kind of environment that has the rule of law and a level playing field,” she remarked in 2012.

LIAR CLINTON: "Since we last debated in Las Vegas, nearly 3,000 people have been killed by guns. Two hundred children have been killed. This is an emergency." She said that in the same period there have been 21 mass shootings, "including one last weekend in Des Moines where three were murdered."

THE FACTS: The claim appears to be unsupported on all counts.

LIAR CLINTON: "I have hundreds of thousands of donors, most of them small."

THE FACTS: Clinton is taking the big money while Sanders is the one drawing from the grassroots. 17 percent of her total fundraising haul has come from donors giving $200 or less. Clinton's top former aides are entrenched at a super PAC that is expecting to raise more than $100 million

LIAR CLINTON on the health care law: "The Republicans have voted to repeal it nearly 60 times."

THE FACTS: the House voted to abolish one part of the law, a tax on medical device makers, with the support of 46 Democrats.
Many of the votes she is counting were to change or repeal specific parts of the sprawling law, a fine-tuning that Obama acquiesced to at times and some Democrats voted for.

LIAR CLINTON: Sanders' health care plan would "eliminate" Medicare.

THE FACTS: Sanders' plan would incorporate Medicare into a broader system intended to cover all Americans. But that does not mean the government would stop paying for seniors' health care. Indeed, Sanders says Medicare is the model for his idea.

Side note....Investigation proposed....
Time Warner’s network, (CNN), for purposeful public deception regarding the Bernie Sanders campaign.

After the Democratic debate aired by CNN on Oct 13, 2015, CNN themselves purposely altered the story, and edited the coverage video afterwards, along with deleting their own public online polls, with what appears to be an intention, to skew the public’s perception of who was the actual ‘winner’ of the debate. Their own poll showed Senator (I) Bernie Sanders clearly ahead of Sec. Hillary Clinton. With over 85% of online pollsters supporting Sen. Sanders, CNN reported, and continues to support the view that Hillary Clinton ‘won’ the debate. This is a clear deception, and lie to the American public, at a time, when we need the truth regarding our political leaders. It is our belief, that Time Warner, Inc, as a large contributor to the Clinton campaign, is attempting to buy the election!

“Some Democrats believe you changed your positions based on political expediency,” Cooper said. “You’re against same-sex marriage now you are for it. You defended President Obama’s immigration policy now you say they are too harsh. You supported his trade deal dozens of times you even called it the gold standard, suddenly last week you’re against it.”
“Will you say anything to get elected,” he asked Clinton.

new respect.....

sweet, did he really ask her that?.....

He did....and I forgot something

CLINTON on her email practices: "I have been as transparent as I know to be. ... I said I have answered all the questions."

THE FACTS: Clinton has yet to explain how the server was set up and serviced, whether she informed the State Department about her decision to use the private system and, most important, how it was protected from hacking attempts.
Russia-based hackers tried at least five times to trick her into infecting her computer system with malware in 2011, The Associated Press learned, and her server was hit by attempted cyber intrusions in 2014 from China, South Korea and Germany.
Her server also was connected to the Internet in ways that made it more vulnerable to hackers. But her campaign has repeatedly declined to address these details.

When she was asked about the emails and her testimony at the debate, she mentioned something about being questioned for 11 hours and didn't answer what was asked at all....
the commentator let it slide and they usually do in Dem. debates.

"Although the moderating panel led by Face The Nation’s John Dickerson was certainly less self-aggrandizing than the disastrous CNBC Republican debate panel, it was not without a certain discernible agenda. In the opening half-hour, Dickerson posed nearly all his questions as criticisms of Clinton, asking Clinton to defend herself, and basically baiting the other two to attack her."

the Democrats of course applauded the debate as exactly what debates should be and tittered at any hints from the candidates that they should expect anything different........
