I don't recall you getting all mad when Al Jazera was fucked with in mike browns town during the protests?

do you remember what the police did to them?

Why are you so desperate to change the subject? Why can't you simply admit what the students and professors did was WRONG???

this was not some major constitutional crisis you fucking divertabot.

the whole reason this was posted was to SMEAR the people fighting racism in this case

lie about it all you want

lying is about all you do

She's saying the ends justify the means. Always a great thing to teach at a supposed University of higher learning.

Looks like liberals and Desh don't believe in FREEDOM of the Press.
Damn they sure are un-American.

On another forum a liberal retard actually tried to argue that it was the journalism student getting into the faces of those fascist protestors.

You cannot reason with the unreasonable or retard class; only point at them and laugh.

Yep, racists attitudes and the people who thought they could express them openly with immunity got a shot in the arm in Missouri....and "conservative" clowns don't like it. So the best they can do latch onto some incidental BS between students involved and media wonks/press....as if that in and of itself negates the validity of the original protest and it's success.

TFB, my teabag/neocon/fibbertarian/oather/threeper/"conservative" friends. You lost this one publicly. Deal with it.

Residential Life then contacted the MU Police Department. MUPD completed a report of the incident, and Residential Life staff also filled out a Bias Incident Report, Director of Residential Life Frankie Minor said. MUPD could not be reached for comment.

“The university is aware of it, and the MUPD (is) actively investigating the incident,” MU spokesman Christian Basi said in an email. “Anyone who might have information is encouraged to contact the MUPD.”

Next time, try doing some honest research before your fingers hit the keys, as I tire of doing it for your willfully ignorant self.

It's more than the students though. You can argue for excusing them. But when workers of the University are involved and especially when a professor of Mass Media calls for getting some muscle on a student photographer that's another issue. Kids are young and don't think all things through. A professor should know better. That's off the charts bad.

Certain idiots on the board admire the idiots at Missouri.

TWO faculty members, including a media professor... don't understand the first amendment.

With the fascist leftist morons, it's always all about "more rights for me, but not for thee". And they care nothing about the rights guaranteed in the US Constitution unless or until they need to cherry-pick one to use to further their leftist agenda. Idiots.

They are aware of a complaint. Yet ZERO evidence.

No picture in today's college environment? You really believe that?

Someone had to clean it. Stop being so willingly gullible you dumb fuck.

I'm waiting until the football players "protest" come back to bit them in the ass; because what are they now going to do, the next time the players refuse to play until their demands are met? :D

poor, stupid children are being used. there is a payday coming for all who offend the little ones. I think it would have better for those who taught these children; to have had a millstone tied around their neck and that they should have been cast into the midst of he sea.

I think most of the students there aren't that concerned or weren't aware of the several past racial incidents at the Mizzou campus. A small group of black students formed the Concerned Student 1950 movement. The football team got involved and THEN it became big news. The university panicked and the president was encouraged to resign. This story gained a lot of traction and national media attention.

When you're in college, you want to stand for something, make a difference, feel important and start to develop a sense of meaning or purpose in life. So that's why I think most of the students (other than the original CS1950) are just there to be a part of something big and historic. Not that they aren't against racism or genuine in their feelings but they're just there because what else are they going to do when the campus is disrupted as it was.

So they are all there, locking arms and preventing media from entering their safe space. Basically just a lot of tents set up on public property where organizers and faculty members such as Melissa Click and Janna Basler control who enters... control who is allowed on public property. These protesters are drones, soldiers if you will listening to "orders" from their commander. Block them, move forward, don't let the enemy take pictures or do any reporting. I honestly think that if one of the protesters punched or kicked Tim Tai, other people would have joined in and probably no one would have rushed to his aid.

These protesters are idiots to be sure, but we were all idiots in college. I joined many groups and activities because someone I liked was in them, or hoping to meet that cute person.
