Isn't that the American way?

Isn't anybody concerned about the precedent being set where comments made in private can be used to strip someone of their property? At least one person is anyway.

Now you're just being insipidly stubborn instead of just conceding a point. Are you truly advocating that person openly support someone who is working against their best interest just for a short term financial gain? Because history has shown that ploy just doesn't work in the long run.
Given his documented history, this is just the latest EXPOSE', as it were. Sorry, but once the cat is out of the bag, AND THE ACCUSED OWNS UP, the chips fall where they may.
"They no longer represent black people. They represent LIBERAL black people."
WTF are you going on about now? Are you implying that the NAACP was some militant, reactionary bigot organization? Did you know that there have been non-white members of the NAACP for DECADES....and that it's detractors have been calling it a "shake down" group since it's inception?
Silver's statements are NOT the topic here per se.....as we all know it's all about the Benjamins until the bigotry becomes TOO public. I'm just saying that if the NAACP ever had a chance to turn the tide, now's the time!

YEP; because all that has to happen now, when a team or fans don't like the owner, is to threaten a boycott and/or a walk out.
But this is an owner you said should have already been kicked out of the league. If just not liking the owner could get someone kicked out of the league Chris Cohan would not have owned the Warriors as long as he did and Clipper fans would have kicked out Sterling years ago.

But it's only about the now, that's important; according to you.
Your argument is he should have been kicked out of the league before but because they didn't what has currently has transpired isn't worthy of being kicked out and thus it is a double standard and they are hypocrites for kicking him out.
I'm a Warriors fan. I wanted Sterling to own the team forever. But I'm also a capitalist. When an owner's actions causes untold millions of dollars of damage to the league and the league's brand I understand why they acted as they did. At its core the NBA is about making money. This owner's actions put the league in a position to lose a lot of money.
I guess you've missed the times where I've said that if they were going to do something, it shouldn't have been for a PRIVATE conversation; but instead they should have acted on his PUBLIC behavior.
But then; referencing such information would have just confused you, again.

Once these private words were out there and sponsors started pulling their money and players threatened to not play and shut down the league during the playoffs what do you think the Commissioner should have done?
Called their bluff.
Yeah, I kind of new cowardly, racist little dunces like you would just delight in this
....hence the request of my post....to stop giving folk like you validity in their never ending rants.
