Sarah Palin: 'Waterboarding Is How We'd Baptize Terrorists' If I Were In Charge

You're liberal according to the modern US definition. Thanks again for confirming that "the right lineage" is so important to you.

What the buggery is that about? You really are weird, you know. Try supposing you live amongst normal people and explain.

You are comparing a lengthy Senate Career with the career of a woman who could not even finish a single term as Governor of the least populated state.

"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened."

Apparently US history 101 isn't required for a lengthy Senate career.

What does FDR have to do with this? Neither person can legit be compared to FDR, ill have to agree with that.

she'd find a wellspring of liberal support if she recommended waterboarding for americans suspected of being domestic terrorists.

She would not, this is where your perception is once, again, wrong. You know people, like myself, do not support torture for anyone for any reason.

I love it. Which is why I love Sarah. I would support her 1000% if she ran for President. That lefties and moderates like Cawacko/ leaning right don't like her is proof positive she is on to something.

There are so many things wrong with her statement I cant even begin to start, but she is so insignifigant, I don't really feel a need to detail how the statement illustrates a lack of understanding of the Constitution, the American way, foreign policy, the terrorist threat, and baptism.

Again, not a surprise coming form a person who could not even finish a single term as governor of Alaska.

What's the quote?

The guy is a bit of a buffoon, I agree with that... but to compare him with Sarah Palin, that's low.

The quote about FDR, the stock market crash, and television. And while I wouldn't vote for Palin for office, but I think she is very good at what she does. I think she has found her place as a cheerleader for conservatives and she does a great job of rallying them. And I do believe that she realizes that that is where she can be most effective.

She is very good at what she does. What she does is not very good for American ideals.

She is a shill for unconstitutional, racist and xenophobic feelings. She holds no office so she can make the comments without any repercussions.

I don't think the conservatives in my area would agree with you, at least not 2/3rds of them.

And how would she christen them - with a pair of pliers?

Someone should explain to her that America stands for something in the world (or at least we used to), and that something includes "not torturing or committing human rights violations."

And incidentally, why are people still reporting on what she says?

I would not support waterboarding for even GWB, who is the one that authorized waterboarding.
