Women Don't Want More Than Men

And you know darn well no job is being done the exact same way by people with the exact same qualifications working the exact same hours. Because people who fit this criteria are called "robots."

True, but you can find people that do the same job for the same company and then adjust for hours worked and experience. The 77 cents crap lumps ALL jobs together and then pretends it means something. You know... the crap Obama/Darla/Dung spew forth.

No offense taken. I always heard that men had more strength and women had more endurance. Need to research this more.

Depends on distance/speed. If you have them running/swimming/biking at the same speed, then men are going to last longer as their top speed is typically faster, thus if you drop them to the top speed of women they will (on average) last longer. If you have each go at their top speed and see how long they can maintain it... women will tend to outlast men.

How much discrimination is too much? If more than none is your answer, what do you propose we do about it?

That's what sf tells himself whenever another 4 yo girl passes him on her tricycle.

No that's not what I said. You know you can get a good feel for someone's intelligence while watching them attempt to read for comprehension.

Same what, prize money? I don't know, I don't watch tennis matches.

There's a gap in prize money with the PGA v. LPGA though.

Well I was thinking of Grand Slam matches like Wimbledon, French Open, Australia Open etc. Women get the same prize money now but refused point blank to play best of five like men.

I don't know. But I do know that lying about it hurts your cause. It does not help it.

So, we agree that there is discrimination against women when it comes to their wages and the only disputes are (1) how much and (2) what to do about it. Glad we could clear that up.

I am saying there could be, that it is far smaller than the lies you continue to tell, that your lies hurt the issue... not help it, but that like most problems... eradicating it completely probably is not likely.

When you claim it is 23 cents on the dollar and in reality it is closer to <5 cents... yeah... you are lying. Deliberately spewing lies to create outrage among the voting populace.

So tell us Dung... why is it that you choose to LIE?

First of all, you'll have to quote me if you want to call me a liar for saying something I didn't say.

Second, are you aware of any study anywhere by any person or entity that shows that the disparity in pay between women and men is entirely explainable by factors that are not discriminatory? If so, I'd love to see it. If not, on what basis are you saying that "there could be?"

Third, you know what really prevents the very real problem of discriminatory pay from being addressed? People pretending it doesn't exist. Like you.

Dung, I'm open to hearing your opinion on ways you think it can be addressed.

It's not an easy problem to sovle. For starters: (1) Mandatory paid maternity and patrenity leave; (2) subsidized day care and early child care; (3) Disclosure of pay rates; (4) pass that Fair Pay Act and (5) stronger enforcement of existing laws.

Seriously 5 sets is way to long for current tv
Nobody really wants to watch men go that long

LMAO... funny how you and Darla now run away from your lies.

I'll admit I'm confused on the role mandatory paid maternity and paternity leave would have with this issue. And for disclosure of pay rates does that mean each company reports to the government what each employee is making?
