They said it would never work. They said the goal was impossible. They said it was just hype, but the reality would fall short.

Then the web site failed and they rejoiced, see I told you so. I knew it would be impossible... To them it had been proven, see, 7,000,000 was a joke all along.

BAM, today... 7,000,000 people have used the web site to sign up for Health Insurance. That does not include the millions more, like me, who signed up privately with a company and was precluded from doing so before the ACA.

THANK YOU PRESIDENT OBAMA!

LMAO; they don't get much more gullible or as dumb as you.

Well, these are the same people who said the polls were "skewed" and honest-to-God believed Romney was going to President Elect the next morning.

See, the part about them honest-to-God believing it is what makes it funny. I still smile when I think about their tear-stained faces that evening.

I don't think so, but it sure helped me.

I was against it, but not any other form of reparations.
Only a right wing hack wants it to fail.
As it's goal is to reduce hc I want it to be wildly successful.
I'm skeptical when doctors monopoly power is not touched.

I respect that.

Two days ago Foxnews was gloating about how Obamacare would never reach the 7,000,000 goal. Today they are not mentioning it.

The ACA has helped me in three ways.

1) I was able to get insurance, previously I was excluded for a history of high Cholesterol.
2) My employees insurance, which I pay 100% of, went down about $300 a month.
3) My family's insurance went down $90 a month, and now I am covered.

Oh, and a fourth way.... Many more of my fellow Americans are now insured and that makes my nation more healthy both physically and financially. It takes the stress off the healthcare system and will lower medical care costs drastically in the long run.

Were they Counselor; do you have a link to this gloating? What do you think this 7,000,000 figure means Counselor?

I'm amused that he lefttards are cheering this arbitrary goal when the claim was tat there were around 30 million uninsured in he nation. While most of those signed up have not paid, and a majority who have are the very sick and do not have to pay or are getting massive subsides or being moved into Medicare, one has to wonder who is going to foot the bill for the massive increase in healthcare costs this was predicted to cause?

Regarding #1; So you claiming you did not have healthcare before ACA passed?

Regarding #2; how so? Because you dropped them from your own coverage or because you are the only employer in the USA whose provider found a way to lower costs having to add services they can't exclude?

Regarding #3; so your claiming that you qualify for subsidies under the ACA act?

You know what I think Counselor; that you're the biggest liar on the planet.

No one has seen their rates reduced, and small employers merely pushed their employees into the ACA program because every one of them were going to have a huge cost increase in thier plans.

Not one insurer in this country can add all the services required by the ACA act and without being able to screen for pre-existing conditions and reduce their fees. And someone with your claimed status and income certainly do not qualify for subsidies under the ACA act.

So I am thinking you are nothing more than a big fat liar.

1) That is true, I went without health insurance before the ACA passed. (Then I had a provisional program called the PCIP, and now I have regular health insurance)
2) I combined us all into one policy.
3) I got no subsidies.

It makes sense to me that in order to sustain your personal world view, you must assume lots of people are lying when they are telling the truth.

It makes sense to me that in order to sustain your personal world view,

What would that be Counselor?

you must assume lots of people are lying when they are telling the truth.

I'm not assuming anything; I read the news and based on my own families experience and the factual data, I have seen NOTHING that suggests ANYONES rates are lower this year.

So either you are a singular historic case that the media should be knocking down your door to editorialize as a unique winner in the ACA law, or you're flat out lying.

I'm fairly certain you're not merely lying, but quite full of shit.

I was just discussing this on facebook, most of my friends who got new insurance got higher deductibles with lower priced plans. If you follow the media, you are going to hear basically what will get more viewers to watch and that is stories about sensational situations.

I'm amused by your anecdotal Facebook bullshit. But alas, I prefer factual data to your anecdotal bullshit.

Really Counselor? I am quite certain the LA Times and New York Times were avid supporters of the Obama Presidency and the ACA and go out of their way to promote their leftist ideology.

Yet the news is that rates "increased", BUT, not as much as they "might" have. A familiar leftist meme that actually is saying, "we were wrong, but it's still good for everyone because we lefties care more than anyone else on the planet."

Do you have something other than anectdotal Facebook claims to support the argument that our rates went down?

P.S. keyword "higher deductibles".

I never claimed that "our rates went down" I told you that MY rates went down.

Your simplistic view of how the NYT and the LAT work is expected.
