This is not uncommon. It's very widespread and deeply ingrained throughout the Bible belt. The children and families that come forward will be viciously attacked. If it were not for the ACLU, FFRF and Federal courts it would go completely unchecked.

I am as much against whats going on concerning this topic as I was about the other....what each is doing IS unconstitutional and I've never claimed otherwise....

but if I remember correctly, it was the lefties that defended singing and praising Obama at the time that happened....so plainly, YOU are the hypocrites...

I can hardly complain about a incidents I am unaware of....

And you were taught that religion, etc....whats your point.....its a private school, you don't have to attend or send you kids there, you have choice.....which is also
the way it should be.....
the public school system is totally different and its curriculum is set by and approved by the state that supports it....they should not be indoctrinating kids in absurd science
nor teaching kids absurd praise of one political view.....

Th Pledge is not religious and its favors neither political party, does it ?....Actually, from your perspective, maybe it does....

And most important, its not mandatory and has nothing to do with grades, so I fail to see its equivalency to the topic....

Personally, I don't think it should be mentioned except in classes like Civics, History, Government studies, etc...I guess that would be called 'Social Studies' ....

the preferred name liberals use today....

If you find it a problem, you probably don't like the Anthem sung at athletic events and the like either....

The point was that children learn songs about their Presidents in school. Nothing to see here. No imaged crisis like you like to fabricate.

Private schools.....it has no place in public schools.......as far as I know, its NEVER been done until Obama in any public school, about any other president....
correct me if I'm wrong....

If the kids were taught these 'hymn like' songs about Bush, you'd have a different attitude...

its NEVER been done until Obama in any public school, about any other president....perhaps you can't understand English....

I specifically said public schools.....if this was a public school, it was totally out of line....private schools are a different matter and its obvious for over 200 years
that they operate with their own rules as long as they teach an accepted academic curriculum along with whatever else .....

was this a public school ?

Bull, songs are sung in public schools about Presidents all the time, George Washington, Lincoln, Reagan etc. it seems like the first time to you because you weren't paying attention till it was Obama.

The onus is on you to prove it has never been done before Obama.

I can remember my children singing about Presidents in their assemblies.

I do not have the proof, I just know it is done.
