But aren't you exhibiting one of the significant flaws of American culture? The compulsion for instant gratification?

BTW, for the cheap bastards out there...I literally have cut my electric bill by a quarter by changing entirely to low Hg fluorescent lamps. :) Combined with the substantial drop in my gas bill due to local increase in gas drilling....I'm pretty happy. :)

And it uses even less energy than fluorescent!! I plan on switching fairly soon. It's just like when I first switched to fluorescent lamps, yea it take a little bit for them to warm up and they don't emit the same amount of lumens but they do use significantly less electricity. Same goes with LED's right now it's a higher cost for the lamps but it's a better quality light and you'll make that money back and then some on electric conservation.

The local council has just removed the streetlights in my road and replaced them with LED lights. Takes a bit of getting used to going from sodium yellow to white.
 
WHY do you guys like florasdfdsfacents? they are fucking ugly as shit it's like being in a prison.
