This thread isn't for debate, it's for fun. (I'm sure somebody will ignore this). Post predictions of events for 2014. At the end of the year, we'll look to see who was right.

I predict dems loose three seats in the Senate, pick up 8 to 12 seats in the house, Obamacare/ACA becomes more popular, we continue to doo too little on the issue of global warming, boehner is still the speaker but is even less liked, congress will be even less productive, and that next year the Steelers will be in the playoffs.
 
Oh, and I also predict that OSU will not win a national football championship. Not being disloyal, but they need too much growth as a team to get there.
 
I predict Sarah Palin will not run for Senate in 2014, but will continue to threaten to do so!
 
I predict Michelle Obama and the children will move out of the White House and the blonde lady who runs Holland will move in and form a cooperative presidency.

We'll see how this works out at the end of the eyar....probably happen about the time congress becomes productive or Palin becomes literate....
 
Jerry Brown will amp up his presidental campaign and lead California toward legalized weed.

Boehner will lose his speakership.

Republicans who plan on running for President will continue to trip all over each other trying to prove they are more socially conservative than the others.

There will be more Obamacare Derangement Syndrome which will be listed in the DSM as a sub-psychosis to the more general Obama Derangement Syndrome.

Hillary Clinton will continue to be the frontrunner for the Democratic Nomination and for the presidency itself.

Rick Scott will be defeated by the new Democrat Charlie Christ for his non-consevutive second term as Florida Governor, while continuing to position himself to be Hillary's runningmate.

The Republican will continue to call everything they can imagine an "Obama Scandal".

The ballance in the house and Senate will reamain about the same.

Weed and Gay Marriage will become legal in 4-7 more states. (Free America will grow)

Darkness will become brighter and lightness will illimunate more of the world. (Social Conservatives will continue to be against this)
 
Oh, I forgot, after trying to lay low for a few months after his plagerism scandal and his trying to "WIN" the shutdown, Randall Paul will reemerge only to shoot himself in his foot again with his arrogance.
