I voted "everybody should be able to spawn" because the right to spawn shouldn't be regulated by the state. That would make us China, not the USA.

We are going to be facing overpopulation; not that we arent already. In America, this swelling is likely to be caused by immigrants. Estimates place 2050 US @ 450,000,000, ~85%of the growth being immigrants and their offspring since 05.

We may eventually need some kind of population control, or else start rationing certain resources in some fashion. So Im sure even the most induvidualistic amoung us can see thatat some point the collective will come before the common individual.

I think its something we should consider, or at least develop plans for. We have a zombie outbreak protocol for tge CDC, but nothing for the long foretold overpopulation issue?

Yes. They should have the right, even if they choose not to exercise it. Btw, how are you defining "genetic disorders?"

Science defines genetic disorders. I don't. Look up the definition if you want.

Are you saying that closely-related individuals should have the legal right to reproduce?

Perhaps it's time to make reproduction subject to pre-approval by the government?

I would like to see one change and it would require the government.
If someone rapes a child, they should be prevented from ever being able to make a child ever again.
If someone continues to have children and the Government keeps taking them away, they should be prevented from ever being able to make a child ever again.
If a man continues to make children and then doesn't attempt to support them, then he should be prevented from ever being able to make a child ever again.

My examples are simplistic and would need greater clarification as to what constitutes the "violation"; but children should be seen as a gift and not as a means to an end.
<I know, another simplistic comment>

But I do not believe that the Government has any right to say who can or can not have a child, for the majority of the population.
<yeah, I know - slippery slope>

Do you support Planned Parenthood?

I support their mission to provide reproductive and other services. I commend Sanger for the work she did to help protect women's health. Couples could decide in advance on family size and not leave everything to luck.

I never agreed with her wacko stance on eugenics which as you know was a position also held by a number of prominent people in those days. Churchill, H.G. Wells, George Bernard Shaw and John Maynard Keynes, to name a few.

Is that a "yes"?
