explain what he meant when he said what he really said?.....well, since what he said is that he worked side by side, doing the same things the blacks were doing in the same field and he heard no one complaining about racism, I expect he meant that he worked side by side, doing the same things the blacks were doing in the same field and he heard no one complaining about racism......

he also said "They were godly; they were happy", which I expect was the lesson he was trying to teach......did you learn it?......

nothing callous about it.....it was specifically directed to someone who missed several pointed hints from more than one person that this man was not working in the field next to anyone who was a slave.......

The blacks couldn't eat in white restaurants, sit in white movie theaters, vote, attend school alongside whites. Black men could be hung for just looking at a white woman. Do you really think they were happy? Do you really think they were going to complain about their injustices?

you asked me what Robinson meant when he said what he said.....did he say they were happy about segregation?.....did he say they were happy about lynchings?.....of course, its in the best interest of your made up arguments if you can make it look as if he did..... everyone else can see your argument is false, but so what?......if you can convince even one, its a world of liberal win......

So his small experience of "blacks not complaining" in an era where racial segregation, Jim Crow, and the common knowledge that blacks were lower class is tantamount as him getting along fine? I'm also astounded by his usage of referencing himself as "white trash." I assume, like I said before since blacks were perceived inferior, him getting along with them because he too was poor or perceived as second class it's ok.

Again this is why I disagree and condemn him. If blacks were happy the civil rights movement would be pointless and MLK's speech wouldn't exist. Alas this man deserves every criticism.
