You're comparing a kid who ran over and killed four people with a man who spoke about his religious beliefs that some find offensive. How are you even beginning to compare the two? What punishment should Phil Robertson face? Jail time for his comments?

No, it is a belief. He also states that we should treat those with whom we disagree with respect. In other words, his BELIEFS teach him it is wrong, but he will let God decide for sure and thus treat others with respect himself.

He didn't say that it did. He listed "sins" one of which was bestiality, but from what I read he didn't say "homosexuality leads to bestiality".

Considering it is listed as a sin in both the New and Old Testaments he is simply listing things that the Bible says are sins.

He also listed promiscuity, I notice you are not worried about him judging man-sluts poorly.
 
They were happy about it when Clear Channel banned the Dixie Chicks because they said they were not proud of being from the same place as GWB. They are upset about it when A&E banns this guy for his judgmental comments about Gay people.

I personally don't care at all. I didn't even know who this guy was until today. If the show is that popular another channel will air it.

Cool. It's possible. I just looked up Phil Robertson suspended and read the story. None of it matters, Jarod. All of those are listed as sins in the Bible. Reading off a list is not "judging" any more than you reading a list out loud spoken by a republican makes you the original speaker.

Just because it is in the bible does not make it non-judgmental. He did not simply read a list from the bible... he said affirmatively that homosexuality is a sin. To define someone's sexual preference as sinful is judgmental. I am sorry if you don't like it, but its true.

If I said, "republicans said "X is a sin"", that is different than saying "X is a sin".
