What, in your mind, is sinful?

One mans hate is another mans poetry. My point is that if we are talking about the free spread of ideas, we cant make ourselves the judge of what is vitriolic hatred vs. religious views we are impressing our moral opinion upon others.

Which part? The part about a man's anus and a vagina? The part about black people being oh so happy int he Jim Crow South? The part about non-Christian religions leading to murder and war? The beastiailty thing?

I understand what religion has to do with it, but I don't understand how hateful shit delivered in a package of relgion makes the hateful shit OK.

In my opinion it's at least a step above "Honey Boo Boo" because those Duck Dynasty guys are home grown success stories.

Those inbred Honey Boo Boo hillbillies are a shining example of how America glorifies the ignorant and rewards the selfish and the immature.

He doesn't say that you are going to do all of them or that one leads to any other in particular. Or do you think he was saying homosexual behavior leads to 'sleeping with this woman and that woman and that woman'??? Do you also argue that he was saying that?

You are reading into what he said because you want to stomp your foot and hate the man for what he said.

he does indeed lump all 'sins' (as he sees them via his bible) together. So at best you could say that he was saying they were all the same in his eyes. Beastiality and homosexuality and promiscuity etc...

Then his use of the word morph was incorrect, because morph implies something changing into another thing, at least in my dictionary.

Zap, I know that you and I are not going to agree on many things, the topic of this thread for instance, but I definately agree with you on this statement, and applaud you for making it. I don't particularly like the show but my son does so I watch it with him. There is not much to compare between this DD show and the Honey Boo Boo stuff I have seen, though I must admit that I've never watched a show of that.

Ok, then he misused the word. He wasn't saying homosexuality led to all the other things he listed. He gave a list of sins starting with homosexuality.

Except that is NOT what he said... He never said homosexuality morphs INTO bestiality. So the LIE is on your part.

When asked about SIN... he said start with homosexuality and morph out from there... the SIN is what morphs into the other forms of SIN.

No, she misinterpreted what he was saying was morphing. He was discussing SIN. That is what morphed. Hence homosexuality, bestiality, promiscuity, drunkenness etc..
