A Virginia man allegedly brandished a gun at a manager of a McDonald's when applying for a job last week. He is now in county jail instead of behind the counter.
Norfolk, Va., police said Tevin Kievelle Monroe, 31, walked into the fast-food restaurant and asked to fill out an application, according to the Virginian-Pilot. But, when told by a manager he had to fill one out online, the wannabe trainee demonstrated poor listening skills and asked again for the application.
Told no a second time, he then lifted a shirt to reveal not a resume but a handgun, police told the Pilot. The manager then quickly found an application and handed it over, and Monroe took a seat and began filling it out, police reported.
Officers then arrived and arrested him. Monroe is now in jail on charges of brandishing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct, the Pilot reported.
