Capitalism becoming obsolete

Now before you read the link, I will make an introduction. What is capitalism and how did it come about? Well......At first, people lived in socialistic societies, where people would trade for things they needed. Then along came a conqueror. Conquered their land and then made you pay for the stuff you once owned. So lets say your community had an apple orchard, where the people could pick freely and eat from. Now you have to pay if you want those apples. Eventually the territories become to large to manage so the Leading ruler has to insert middle men, like relatives and wealthy families(who cold afford education) that he has alliances with. Thus inserting middle men into the picture. Making the cost of the apples go UP! Plus you have to pay taxes to live on land that was once yours, AND now you have to pay taxes so they can build roads so they can transport THEIR wealth around. Plus you had to pay more taxes to feed more conquests that were disguised as liberation campaigns, or neutral tribes that were demonized. Eventually these elites had so much wealth they needed paper money, certifying the amount of their wealth/assets. And paper money was made.

Then it evolved into more ugliness from there.

It seems that the ruling class and the money changers have ALWAYS controlled global economics, so if one place rebelled against their elitist enslavers, their global counter parts could easily economically starve the rebelling community until they surrendered authority back to them.

Here is the article. People are catching on to capitalism which Capitalists use to rape third world countries of their resources so they can sustain the ruling class of whites and their subjects.

As long as the people buy the lies and mis-information associated with capitalism, nothing will change.

wiseone, it was probably never as harmonious as you portray. There have always been the alphas who took what they want, within reason, and everybody knew the drill. He would have to get pretty greedy before his entire tribe would kill him collectively.

The difference now is the alpha predators have draped themselves in prosocial garb, and lies, and used propaganda to tell us they're not predators.

I read your link; it was very underwhelming, astonishingly vague, and lacked any historical references. Since capitalism dates to 13th century Italy, that may have been relevant. The US tried pure socialism in our past, and beat a quick retreat back to capitalism.

I'd say many of the social programs were wildly successful, and they're still here.

Ahh yes, all of the Socialist "Successes" like the entire Eastern Bloc including the old Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Cuba, N. Korea, China, etc.

And you use some obscure thing from the 1700s to justify why there shouldn't be a minimum wage hike today. Apples and orangs, polesmoker.

It is obscure to the uneducated in American history apparently, and how again did I use it to justify the minimum wage shouldn't be raised? Maybe my post got deleted just as your explanation on purchasing power under protectionism must have.

Nobody knows what you're talking about.

All the internationalist fascists are letting the thread go now. Ive opened up so many fronts they cant even begin to deal with that they're opting out. Pussies.

True but it seems the Asiatic Babylonians were much more civilized then the conquering Germanic Assyrians......This is why Babylon was a great city before it fell.

You cant compare American Native Indian social communal living with Eastern Germanic warmongering........

Define capitalism. that "dates" back to the 13 centuries? The "noble class" has existed many centuries before the 13th century and they are the middle men of capitalism. The US NEVER tried socialism. Though as Zombie stated. IE insurance, pension, medicare, etc... are all socialistic in nature.

The capitalism we know and the enterprise of trade, wealth creation, risk of investment, import and export started in 13th century Italy. In the academic sense, usury is much older and a form of capitalism.

The first colonies started as socialist communities. At Plymouth, the Pilgrims setup a common store that worked as "From Each According To His Ability - To Each According To His Need. Every member of the colony had to place their harvests in the common store. They worked at this for two years. The Pilgrims almost did not make it through the winter. They starved in the winter and reduced rations. Governor Bradford laments the socialism he created:

The experience that was had in this commone course and condition, tired sundrie years, and that amongst godly and sober men, may well evince the vanitie of that conceite of Platos and other ancients, applauded by some of later times; --that the taking away of propertie, and bringing in communitie into a comone wealth would make them happy and florishing; as if they were wiser than God. For this comunitie (so farr as it was) was found to breed much confusion and discontente, and retard much imployment that would have been to their benefite and comforte. For the yong-men that were most able and fitte for labour and service did repine that they should spend their time and streingth to worke for other mens wives and children, with out any recompense. The strong, or man of parts, had no more in divission of victails and cloaths, than he that was weake and not able to doe a quarter the other could; this was thought injustice. The aged and graver men to be ranked and equalised in labours, and victuals, cloaths, etc., with the meaner and younger sorte, thought it some indignite and disrespect unto them. And for men's wives to be commanded to doe service for other men, as dresing their meate, washing their cloaths, etc., they deemed it a kind of slavery, neither could many husbands well brooke it.

The governor describes the meeting to address the problem:

All this while no supply was heard of, neither knew they when they might expecte any. So they [the pilgims] begane to thinke how they might raise as much corne as they could, and obtaine a beter crope than they had done, that they might not still thus languish in miserie. At length after much debate of things, the Gov. (with the advise of the cheefest amongest them) gave way that they should set downe every man for his owne perticuler, and in that regard trust to themselves... And so assigned to every family a parceel of land. This had very good success; for it made all hands very industrious, so as much more corne was planted than other waise would have bene by any means the Gov. or any other could use, and saved him a great deall of trouble, and gave farr better contente. The women now wente willingly into the feild, and tooke their litle-ons with them to set corne, which before would aledge weakness, and inabilitie; whom to have compelled would have bene thought great tiranie and opression.

During this meeting the American free enterprise and free markets were created:

By this time harvest was come, and instead of famine, now God gave them plentie, and the face of things was changed, to the rejoysing of the harts of many, for which they blessed God. And in the effect of their perticular planting was well seene, for all had, one way and other, pretty well to bring the year aboute, and some of the abler sorte and more industrious had to spare, and sell to others, 50 as any generall wante of famine hath not been amongest them since to this day.

The OP reads like Marx's argument for communism. His economic history of society was idiotic, as was his solution for class struggle and injustice.
