The truth isn't racism.
But, if you can point to how blacks are being helped by the democrat party, I am willing to listen.
Since the 1960s and the advent of Johnson's Great Society, black illegitimacy has increased, education has decreased, rates of children being raised by single mothers has increased. Now, to be fair these problems have permeated all races, but none more so acute than the black community.
In fact Johnson famously said "I'll have those ni**ers voting for me for a generation". That is how little your democrat party thought of blacks.
But, hey you point me to the statistics about how blacks are faring in states and cities dominated by liberals and I will be all eyes.

why did I know that Daft would tap dance away from the issue. Blacks vote democratic... and the right believes that the reason they do is that they have ALL been hoodwinked by the democratic party... and the right cannot, for some reason, realize that blacks see that as condescending racism on their part. Johnson indelicately, and inappropriately stated the truth. Liberals worked to give blacks civil rights. Southern democrats fought it. They left the democratic party in large numbers primarily because of the change in the democratic party that started way back in 1948.... our party has transformed itself from the southern racist party it used to be into a party that is a rainbow coalition of all those groups that feel disenfranchised by the GOP. Blacks are smart enough to know that the racist southern democrats of a generation ago have put on a new costume... it says GOP on it.
