China sent fighter jets into its newly declared air defense zone Thursday on what state media called the country’s first air patrol since it declared control of the airspace.

The announcement came hours after Japan and South Korea sent their own military planes into the airspace over the East China Sea, testing China’s resolve.

The announcement of the flights came after American B-52 bombers flew through the same zone in defiance of China.

China launched two fighter planes Friday to investigate flights by a dozen U.S. and Japanese reconnaissance and military planes in its newly established maritime air defense zone over the East China Sea.

Chinese fighter jets identified and monitored U.S. and Japanese aircraft during their flights through the zone early Friday.

China announced last week that all aircraft entering the zone — a maritime area between China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan — must notify Chinese authorities beforehand, and that it would take unspecified defensive measures against those that don't comply. The U.S. said they will not.

One must wonder why President Peace-Prize wants to fuck with the Chinese for no discernible reason.

Maybe he needs to defect attention from the Obamacare disaster and/or his appeasement of Iran.

One must wonder what peaceful purpose this airspace grab has for the Communist Chinese?

A lot of the Chinese still hold deep feelings of hatred for what the Japanese troops did, to the Chinese, during WWII.

This map will show the disputed area and how both sides are claiming in falls within their countries boundaries.

I understand that this is a possibility; but there is no sane rational purpose to continue to harbor such feelings unless it is being indoctrinated into Chinese by their Government.

This is a LOT to do about nothing other than being another convenient distraction for this adminstration that desperately needs distractions to hide their incredible incompetence.
