gay ex soldier waitress will donate tips to wounded warriors

The paper bill doesn't look the same as the online version.

Re: the food spitting, maybe she was referring to the comment the couple made about her appearance when she introduced herself, i.e. "Dan" not "Dayna." It was an ignorant thing to say and maybe even profiling.

What are you talking about? My bill if I print it off looks exactly like my statement. It IS the statement.

Now if you print off charges that are after the last bill, but prior to the new statement being released, you are correct. But that would depend on the couples billing cycle date.

As for the food spitting, the couple stated they had mistakenly thought the hostess had said 'Dan' would be serving them. They did not make any comment about her appearance other than SHE did not look like a 'DAN'...

Quit making excuses for the habitually lying waitress.

On Tuesday, former colleagues and friends of Morales, 22, formerly of Stony Point, N.Y., say she has a reputation for lying.

Morales has been caught in multiple lies, telling co-workers she shaved her head because she had brain cancer and later telling them it was her friend who had brain cancer, her colleagues and friends said.

They said she also told co-workers at a day care center where she once worked that Superstorm Sandy severely damaged her home in Stony Point, and sent a boat into her living room. Concerned co-workers dropped by her home and found only minor damage to the carpet by her front door and no sign of a boat, they said.

"Every story she comes up with has a lie," said Julie Howat, 23, of Pomona, N.Y.

yeah... we should take the waitress's word... or not.

I wonder if you can call your card provider and ask for an additional charge be placed for a tip post the event?

Like "oh shit I forgot to tip that waiter".

call the card co and ask to have a tip added?

I bet a card co would be happy to do it.

a whole other bent added to the mystery

LMAO... amazing how many stupid fucking excuses people come up with. The waitress has a habit of lying.

Doesn't his action indicate that he saw the merchant copy with the comment? Do you really think he did this without proof?

Yes... I think he did it on his employees word... trying to do the right thing. Did you happen to catch the part where he cannot seem to FIND the merchant copy?

also... did you happen to catch the part where he cannot figure out how the couple got charged the tip?

Welllllll....what about this too....

In the news report, the family's customer copy of the check was shown. It has the same "11/13 19:19" time stamp as the merchant copy that went viral. The report also claims that a bill from the couple's credit card company appears to show a $111.55 charge from the restaurant.
The customer check had $18 written for tip on the $93.55 total.

I'd guess you're on the wrong side again Sweetie....too bad you're so narrow-minded and lack the ability to see issues from any other perspective than from the far far left.

Shes a militant homo with an agenda....and she never thought the family would find out about her scam, let alone go public with a denial.

"Militant homo", that's so rude and ignorant. Maybe that's how the family treated her, too.

As far as I'm concerned the jury's out until there is definite proof and so far we've seen none. And you guys aren't giving plausible reasons for the lack of a tip on the merchant copy. It's easy enough for the couple to write in a tip on their copy after the fact.

Yet AGAIN... the credit card statement shows that the charge was for the amount of the bill PLUS the tip. So how do you explain the credit card company getting charged EXACTLY for what the customer says they tipped plus the bill?
this is what i'm getting at. until the restaurant produces the original.........it's one word against another.

LMAO... Unless of course you print it off on line... in which case you can do so within minutes of it being posted. Funny how you keep defending the waitress and blaming the customers. Even though we now have statements that this waitress has lied many times in the past. Even though it is damn hard to fake a credit card statement without having that blow up in your face. Why would the customer even come forward to do that?

Add in the fact that the waitress said she had to refrain from spitting in their food... yet... the 'offending message' was supposedly written on the bill. Hmmmm....

Actually in the original story the incident started when the host or hostess seated them and told them that "Dan" would be their waiter. And when Morales showed up "the woman said, You're not Dan." Their stories also deviate at this point, with the two parties have a slightly different versions of what was said in the original encounter.

"The couple told NBC 4 New York that they believed their receipt was used for a hoax. The wife says she is left-handed and could not have made the slash in the tip line, which she said looks to be drawn from the right."

....online bills may differ or they may not.....or you use a simple screen grabber or "snip tool" to print any part or all of the screen....a real bill could be scanned .... if you're hell bent on creating an illusion

pinheads just don't know when to quit.....do you all earn college degrees in "How to be an apologist, no matter what"

In the interests of moving along this investigation I pulled up my credit card account activity online, and also got out a paper copy from last month. The two are not the same except for the line-item charges. The online bill doesn't have all that stuff about Y-T-D, number of pages, etc.

I would so love to take a screen shot and post it but common sense rules here. :D

...the wife said, "oh I thought you were gonna say your name is Dan. You sure surprised us!"

I think it's funny how this so-called credit card statement gets produced within days of the controversy and the billing just happens to stop on the day the event took place. We all have credit cards. If the cutoff date is 11/13 for example, you're not going to get your paper copy until at least two weeks later.

Unless you just have the intelligence to go to the Bank and ask for a copy of what's already listed.
But then, that's just crazy talking.

yet it is NOT easy enough for them to write in the amount that ALSO happens to get charged by the restaurant.

Militant homo is my impression of her......militant because she in the Marine Corps and she IS a self described homo....I don't know what you problem is with
my description....it is what it is....
Would you prefer the word "gay".....?.....She is a homosexual and calling her that is not rude at all, its accurate...

Again... they thought the hostess said their server was 'Dan'...

If you are looking at your account on line... print up the most recent STATEMENT... not just an account history. the STATEMENT HAS TO BE THE SAME AS WHAT THEY SEND.
