The issue, for me, is that the kids are only poor and on welfare because the parent(s) are not working or in jobs that pay enough to support the family. If that is not related to being elderly, disabled, etc, and it is more than short-term, then THAT is the issue. Kids are dependent....healthy adults are not. And the adults are the ones that apply for and receive the welfare. Toyswill.com
